Class 14 - CRYSTAL PALACE with Jane

Technically 'Overground', rather than 'Underground' your next stop is Crystal Palace at the end of the line. If you're not interested in football then maybe you might want to alight here to visit the Victorian concrete dinosaurs in Crystal Palace park...?

But to me 'Crystal Palace' does not conjure up either footballers or grey lumps of concrete. I think of sparkling crystal, glass chandeliers and all things grand, after all it was named after the original Glass structure or 'Crystal Palace' originally built in Hyde Park for the Great Exhibition in 1851 but moved to South London after the Exhibition was over. So my project is a double layout, to reflect the 'palace' part and full of bling for the 'crystal' part. If you're using your own stash I think the only 'MUST' here is to throw lots of bling at it and have fun!

Here is my double layout...

Our next station will be 'Bank' at Midday for a challenge, followed by 'High Barnet' with Karen at 1pm. Happy Travels!
