October 2017 VC Class 2 with Ann Freeman
Welcome to my midday class for this month which features papers from one of my favourite autumn collections - Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice.
Layout 1 is a quick one to pull together with a 4"x6" photo and a cluster of embellishments - nice and easy to scraplift using your own papers if you didn't manage to get a kit.
Layout 2 features a concertina fold mini-book to accommodate 8-10 photos plus autumnal quotes and elements which can either be on the page (as illustrated) or made separately and thereby keeping the layout nice and simple, maybe replacing the book with another photo?

October Inspired by challenge
Virtual crop day tomorrow so here is your inspired by challenge to warm your scrapping up ready for three classes tomorrow with your ATDML design team
I love the colour mix on this poster advertising Oktoberfast in 2013 as well as the font and information being based around the wheel. How will you use this to inspire your layout and enter into our October Inspired by challenge to win a £5 atdml voucher?
Share your projects in the October Inspired by gallery before the end of the month to have your layout entered into the draw! Those of you coming to the retreat later this month we will have the image there as well so lots of you can enter!!

October Virtual Crop class 3 - Ann Freeman
A very warm welcome to my class today which I created from the gorgeous Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice collection - and yet there isn't a pumpkin in sight!!!

If you are new to the virtual crop just click on the class link above, download the instructions and look at the images of the pages created. Most of the time you can replicate these with papers from your own collection and you don't have to have purchased a kit. Many Simple Stories collections have paper in a similar design format to those I used so maybe dig those out and play along.

October Virtual crop challenge
Hello scrappers, it's time for your virtual crop day challenge and I look forward to seeing lots of you joining in this month.
As always, we base our challenge on "this day in music history" and then make a link from that to inspire a scrapbook page.
October 15th 1977, Debby Boone started a 10 week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'You Light Up My Life', the longest stay at the top for a number of years. I had to google this as it didn't ring any bells but once I heard it I had that "ahh, yes, this one!" moment!
So your challenge is to scrapbook a photo of someone or something that lights up your life.

October Virtual Crop Class 3 with Mel
My class this month uses Glitz Designs Wild and Free, I just loved the colors and the paint drip effect paper!
In terms of style I have gone with quite a clean and simple graphic look and particularly enjoyed the clean look o LO 2.

October Virtual Crop with Karen
Hello, hello lovely ladies (and gents) welcome to the ATDML virtual crop.
This month I worked with papers from the Simple Stories Homespun range and decided to make a layout and a 6in x 12 in midi album.
Although my layout uses the wood effect paper and the 3 in x 4in cut-a-part sheet and features three sparkly arrows, if you don't have the kit you can make the layout using almost any papers. It was a quick and simple layout to make and, as always, features my lovely family but it would work equally with other subjects in the photos, it could have slippers, a cup of coffee and a book for example.
I also made a book, which again features my family, but as above, it can be used for any subject. I wanted to utalise the different sized sections on the papers and used a pizza box to make the covers.

Photo Requirements for the October Virtual Crop
Hello,
At the time of writing Mel's kit still has some availability if you would like to get the kit - here is the link.
Here are the photo requirements for you too.
Karen Moss - Kit 1
3 photos 3 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide - keep the pizza box as you will be using it.
Denise Holmes - Kit 2
1 4 1/2" by 6 1/2" portrait photo with a white border (the border is included in that measurement)
Mel Hand - Kit 3
Layout 1
3 3 by 3" photos
Layout 2
1 6 by 4" landscape photo - Mel's is black and white
