ATDML Alphabetical challenge K

And we are already on the letter K for our twice monthly alphabetical challenge and your letter K prompts to help prompt your next paper craft project are as follows.

And I am fully aware I spelled Kaisercraft incorrectly in the above, but we'll gloss over that and look forward to being inspired to create from the list. I have illustrated the challenge with a Kaisercraft Blessed page of my Kids - how will you rise to the challenge??

Just pick one or more of the K prompts to start your next page and share your inspired creation with us on our Facebook group in the Alphabetical Gallery.

Georgia Blues with Ann

As Katherine has already shared we got to chose our own papers for design team gallery in Nov and we were both drawn to Prima Georgia Blues.

I wish you could see how pretty these foiled papers are and the combination of gold foiled floral with wood and text print is just lovely.

The options to vary up the look of your page with these papers is endless!  I've gone darker on the page above with the woodgrain background and lots of pattern paper layering but in my next layout mixed media on a white background with a few strips of the same collection and it loos completely different.

My third layout is a combination of these two designs with 50/50 cardstock paper background and come fussy cutting of the lovely floral patterns in this collection.

Kaisercraft Miss Betty papers

New in the shop last month were the Kaisercraft paper collection Miss Betty.
It includes some lovely papers which need very little adding to them to make quick and easy papers and I have shown you a couple below which I had shared in the February DT Gallery.

This paper called Needlework looks like scraps of different papers have been added to some of the edges. I continued this theme on my Brothers page below layering other scraps of papers around the other edges to make a frame. The final page looks like lots more pieces were cut out and layered than was actually the case!

Again this paper called Tapestry made for a quick page in the album too, scrapping photos of our pop up Magnum ice-cream shop trip

I cut a 2" strip from the right hand side of the page and turned it over and attached it to the left hand side (using another strip of paper to adhere at the back) and a added a piece of teal ruler from another paper called Patterns to place along the join). I didn't want to see the pink flowers that were pre-printed on the left so covered with a small piece of grid paper (from the Documented collection).

More journaling is contained on the tags which pull out from the top of the lefthand photo.

See more of this lovely collection HERE in the shop.

Faviourite Layouts from January 2018

Hello Lovlies

How are you liking this cold weather?  Not much I suspect.   Why not grab a warm drink and have a look at my three favourite layouts from the January Gallery?

First up is one from Ann

Tis The Season

I really like how she has combined the two different papers, her journaling on little rectangles and the little cluster of embellishments on the bottom left of her photo.

Next is Katherine's Fall In Love With

What's not to love about this page - The multiple layers, the painted areas, the beaded wire, the cluster of embellishments at the bottom left of the page - in fact all if it is gorgeous.

Finally, my favourite from me

Snow Much Fun

I chose this one because I pushed myself to find different ways to use the foiled vellum, as a photo mount, as backfill to the title and a squares behind the bottom panel.

There are plenty of other layouts in the January Gallery, which can be found on the ATDML shop site under information,  so why not pop on over there to have a look.
