A Year in Review

I cannot believe we are half way through the first month of a new year already! How the time flies. I always try to do year in review layouts at the start of a new year to summarise on a page the year before. The Simple Stories Gallery this month features two pages where I have done this using the Year-O-Graphy and Life Documented ranges.

The page above "2011 in your eyes" was also the class layout at my crop yesterday and the papers were very popular among the ladies in attendance and a real variation of pages were created. The supplies required to complete the page above are all available in the store by following the links below.

This double layout spreads out one sheet of Simple Stories Year-O-Graphy patterned paper over 2 pages with twelve 3"x4" photos and a few embellishments making for a very inexpensive double page that is quick and simple to create.

Have you created a 2011-year-in-review page using papers from ATDML? Why not share it with us here and who knows - we may feature your layout in a future blog post!

Happy New Year!

So 2011 is finally here, let's hope it is a very crafty one.

2 years agp I started joining in with something called 12 in 365 where you make 12 goals to be completed in the 365 days of the coming year. For the first time ever that year I completed more of my resolutions than I didn't. The key was making them sensible goals. Or, as they say in various work places S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic & Time Bound)

Two of my goals for 2011 are craft related - one is to make time to craft at least once per week and the other is to scrap 26 layouts for each of my 2 girls (52 layouts in totaly for the year)

To lots of people that doesn't sound many but I am a slow scrapper who struggles to make time to scrap so for me it is a challenge!

Have you made any crafty resolutions of goals this year? Do post a comment and let us know what your craft goals are!
