May Virtual Crop - Class 3 with Mel using Shimelle Go Now Go

Welcome to the last class of the day.

My class uses the fantastic Go Now Go papers from Shimelle and American Crafts. It is a great travel line but as always it is fun to see what you can do with it beyond the original theme.

My class has FOUR layouts (I have been busy!) and two are very definitely travel themed but the other two are not so hopefully there is something in there for everyone!

Here are two of the four layouts - one travel themed one not, Click Here to go and download the instructions and see the rest of the layouts!

Have a lovely weekend everyone and don't forget to ask any questions, comment or share your work over on the ATDML # Create Facebook page.

May Virtual Crop Class 2 with Debs & Prima

Hello and welcome to the second class of ATDML's May Virtual Crop using these delicious papers from Prima's Rossibelle collection. In this class we will create two layouts with a very different look using the same collection, one that is soft and feminine and another that is a little more grundgey (without getting messy) suitable for both masculine and feminine photographs.

These highly patterned papers make it so easy to create detailed, decorated layouts without the need for buying expensive embellishments or add-ons.
Get ready for a little fussy cutting though.

You can find the link to free class instructions on the A Trip Down Memory lane website HERE.
I would love to see your pages when you are done, so please upload to the ATDML gallery and check in on the ATDML Create Facebook page.
Hope you all have a fabulously scrappy weekend.
Debs

May Virtual Crop Class 1 with Ann & Simple Stories I AM

Welcome, welcome to my May Virtual Crop class where I bring your three layouts created with Simple Stores I AM papers.

Plenty of cutting out of floral paper in this class and we use an entire sheet of 12x12 flowers across the first two pages, and keep it floral free on the third. All of these pages use standard 4"x6" or 6"x4" photos so even if you didn't manage to grab a kit and/or don't have these papers to hand you should be able to play along and be inspired by the placement of the elements featured.

Pop over the main website using THIS LINK to download your free instructions on how to create all three of my May pages. I'd love to see you share your layouts with us too, just upload your finished projects to our gallery and see what fellow "class mates" created.

Thanks for joining me, have fun and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

May 2016 Virtual Crop class 3 with Ann

I hope my blog post finds you all happily scrapping away or at the very least enjoying your Saturday.

I have seen many pie-chart inspired layouts of late and wanted to create one of my own but I don’t own a digital cutting machine capable of working with 12x12 so I created my pie-chart by hand and thought I would share with you all how I did this.

To download the free instructions on how I created this page plus another click HERE!

I hope you have enjoyed today's classes. We'd love to see you share your pages once you've made them so do pop them into our Facebook group, or share on your blog and link back to the classes here at Created by ATDML.

SAVE THE DATE:
Your next virtual crop day is 18th June and then when July rolls around we maybe spoil you with not just 3 classes on a Saturday, but a weekend full in our 2016 Cybercrop!! Save the dates 15th-17th July 2016!

May 2016 Virtual Crop Challenge

Good morning ATDML customers, and a warm welcome to another virtual crop day from your design team. In usual style we have our challenge now, then three classes at 10am, noon and 2pm. Pop back here each time for a link to your free downloadable instructions to the projects on offer.

Your challenge for the day is again based on this day in music history, with a link then to a tenuously linked/themed layout challenge!

For today we are asking you to create a page themed around friendship. Upload your challenge layouts to the Facebook group for ATDML # Create and see how others have been inspired by the challenge.

See you back here at 10am for your first class of the day. Happy crafting!!

May Virtual Crop with Ann - Minibook class

Happy Saturday crafters and welcome to my May virtual crop class.

Thought it had been a while since I had done a mini book and as the kit had some VERY bright and funky Simple Stories papers I decided to break them down into smaller pieces to document our Easter activities.  This book can be added to a scrapbook page for multiple photos or kept as a stand alone keepsake.

Instructions can be downloaded HERE and this is a nice quick mini book - not too complicated that can easily be created with our own supplies.

Enjoy, and your next class today will be up at 2pm with Debbie

May Virtual Crop with Katherine

Hello and here is my class for todays Virtual Crop using Public Library by October Afternoon.  My first page uses lots of blues to give an ombre effect, there is also a little bit of fussy cutting for some of the embellishments.

My second page uses a diamond pattern - I've seen a few pages like this so decided to do my own take on it - I'm not sure where the idea originated!  It also gets you to create your own paper embellishments like the balloon and cloud, and gives you some ideas for colouring the Simple Stories alphabet.

This page is just another idea for something you might like to have a go at with the left over kit and any other goodies you have in your stash.  The mist is from the Marion Smith Color Lab and then lots of paper layers and triangles.

I hope you enjoy the class, you can find the instructions here.

May Virtual Crop Photo Requirements

Here are the photo requirements for this weeks Virtual Crop.

Class 1 - Katherine Sutton

Layout 1 - 1 landscape 6" by 4" photo

Layout 2 - 2 or 3 portrait 6 by 4" photos - we are going to trim them down into diamond shapes that            are 2 1/2" squares.

Useful to have - brown ink, gold ink, clear embossing powder (and heat tool), broken china distress stain or ink, glossy accents, border punch and heart punch.

Class 2 - Ann Freeman

This class is a mini book so photos can be added later, but they should be no bigger than 3" by 4" and a mix of portrait and landscape.  The book will take between 8 and 12 photos depending on how much journalling you want.

Class 3 - Debbie Jewell

2 Layouts both need a 6 by 4" landscape photo - colour or black and white
