Class 9 - The one about Phoebe's Triplets - with Tracy Annunziato

Time for the late night class with me!  I hope you're having a good evening if you are still scrapping along with the time table, and if not, then I hope you are having a good morning/lunch/afternoon/evening depending what time you are reading this!

It's the one with Phoebe's triplets, which was the 100th episode! More about that in the instructions!

Playing with Pink Fresh, The Simple Things, I tried to keep the theme of 3 in mind.  One layout features three clusters,

and another a 3 word title...

and then to keep in line with the power of 3, I made a third layout! After which I remembered there are two sheets of cardstock in the kit, not 3.  So grab one from your stash to do all 3 layouts.

I hope you enjoy the class, you'll find your instructions here.

August Cyber crop - Tricia with Pink Fresh celebrate

 Good morning Campers!!

Welcome to day 2!

Today I'll be using the gorgeous Celebrate range from Pink Fresh.  Full of beautiful blush tones and oversized florals it is perfect for all the outdoor get togethers we have been having lately.

The papers are full of gorgeous sweeping groups of florals that beg to be fussy cut and that's exactly what I did! I also loved the falling trellis on the 'Everyday' paper and set about making the most of it on the 2nd layout.

The key to creating the centrepieces is all in the cutting so grab your scissors and click here for the instructions.

PS. Don't forget to pop back at 12 for Debs class :)

AROUND THE WORLD CYBERCROP CLASS 8 - MEXICO WITH TRICIA

Good evening Campers

Welcome to class 8 of the Around the World cyber crop.
In this class I'll be taking inspiration from Mexico, a place that is next on my list to visit!  I'll be taking inspiration from traditional Mexican tiles,  strung street lights, sweets, sunsets and piƱatas.

I'll be using the Pinkfresh 'Keeping it real' range which does not only include a brilliant range of beautiful colours but words and sayings which are a perfect accompaniment to photos taken during lockdown.

There will be a little bit of fussy cutting in this class but I couldn't resist all the little details of the 'Daily grind' paper. So grab your scissors and your kit and click here to get the class instructions.

We have created albums for you to share your layouts from this class over on Facebook and I can't wait to see what you all come up with.  We are back tomorrow so don't forget to head back in the morning to join Ann for her San Francisco inspired class

Around the world in 80 hours - Class 2 Athens, Greece, with Tracy

Hi everyone, it's time for your second class in your trip around the world!  I hope you are all getting that mojo flowing with the challenges and Katherines class so far.

I had the pleasure of working with Pink Fresh, Some Days which not only has some lovely pastel pinks with some bold blues and yellows, but the ephemera pack has so many different sentiments and icons in that you can make these pages work for almost any occassion.

I loved all the coffee references in the papers and the ephemera, obviously, so my first page had to be my 40th Birthday celebration with Ann and Sarah. Not quite what we had planned at the beginning of the year but the Starbucks drive through and some strategic parking meant we were able to have a socially distant coffee together (Ann and I have been in a bubble for the duration).

With distressing being my prompt, and having embraced fussy cutting during the first lock down, I decided my second page had to include a significant amount of ripping up paper with abandon and delicately cutting flowers out!  Apologies for the picture subject... it was go yellow day and we had to take a crazy selfie!

I hope you enjoy the pages, I'll be lurking around in the facebook group if anyone has any questions.

April Sketch Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Easter to everyone.  Here is this months sketch challenge and sample page.

I have been enjoying a little bit of Vicki Boutin and her Friday Night Live sessions and been playing around with distress inks.  I started off with the background, then definitely went through a phase of "how am I going to use this?", which was mainly because I just chose colours I liked.  Fortunately I had a box of Pink Fresh's Keeping it Real and when I looked at the B-sides of the papers there were some perfect colour matches!
The main structure of the page is 3 strips - mine are 2 3/4" by 6" and then the 6 by 4" photo.  I added in some extra layer with vellum and cut out some of the tags from the Keeping it Real papers.  I layered up the co-ordinating stickers, hunted for multi-coloured sequins...which did explode across my room but in the end I was pleased with the page as the colours match the happiness I feel when we get a lovely covering of snow!

I hope you enjoy the sketch.  Do share your pages over in our Facebook Group.

Hello everyone and - well dare I say it... officially welcome to Spring as we hit the spring equinox.

I have a class for you today using the gorgeous PinkFresh Studio Days of Splendor and there are two pages for you to create with plenty of bits and pieces left over.

This is one of the two pages making full use of the chevron papers and yes - my two baby boys feature on this one.

You can find my instructions here

Have fun everyone and happy Spring.

June Virtual crop class 3 with Tricia

Good afternoon campers

Welcome to class three of today's Virtual crop.

In this class today I'll be using Pink fresh 'Be you' range to create layers and a focus on geometric design and subtle titles.  The papers are full of tiled accents and nods to spring days so perfect for any photos that you may have taken recently.  I made use of the tiled feature in my second layout to accent some photos I took on my last Visit to Rome.

The first layout is based around a (socially distanced) walk I recently took with my Nephew. You can click here to head over to the instructions and see the 2nd layout.

Don't forget to add your version over on the ATDML # Create Facebook page, we love seeing what you get up to.

May Virtual Crop Class 2 with Katherine

Hello everyone, here is my class - there are 2 layouts in this one and here are a couple of sneaks of the pages.

You can find the pictures and instructions HERE.

There are some beautiful puffy stickers and lovely pastel rainbow colours in the papers.  I have edited out some of the pink in the papers so you can make the pages work for all members of the family, whether they are into pink or not (and if they love pink then leave more in)!  I hope you enjoy the class as much as I enjoyed creating the pages.

As always, do post your pages and join in the chatter on our Facebook page.

Join us tomorrow morning at 10am for our next class with Karen

February Virtual Crop - Class 2 with Katherine

Hello everyone, here is my class using the beautiful Pink Fresh line Every Day Musings....the papers are lovely.  The class includes 3 pages, and you will have enough for a 4th page too as the kit is packed with papers.  If you are up for getting your paints out you can make your pages messy, equally if you don't enjoy painty bits then just skip those steps.

I hope you enjoy the class and the pages and look forward to seeing your creations.

Mixing it up, using old and new stash!

Like many of you I like to collect beautiful bits of paper and ephemera, this month I've really enjoyed  digging through my embellishment box and using older items with some of the beautiful new lines that are in the shop.  For this first page I used Just a Little Lovely papers from Pink Fresh - they have all the watercolour done for you - I did add the gold mist flicks but no other paint on this page!  I used some of my older stash for layers - so a layer of patterned vellum and some hessian ribbon.

I used up some of my typewritten little word stickers - I wonder about using these up as a feature on a page - all the little phrase stickers that you end up collecting and I forget to look through and dig out!

For the title I used a Vicki Boutin collection of die cuts - I have loved this pack and am still working my way through it.  It has lots of embellishments with wonderful phrases on in all sorts of colours, so you can find something to match most collections!

Another really good use up of old with new is with colour - so this beautiful paper from the Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl teamed up with buttons, washi and embellishments that haven't been dug into in a while!

I tore off little strips of washi - and added in a few more of the word stickers that I could find.  This paper collection is beautiful - do check it out in the shop!

Finally a really good chipboard use up!  Again this is a Pink Fresh, no mess watercolour base (not even flicks this time!), but it also goes really well with the Midnight collection from Cocoa Vanilla....I'd used a few frames from the back and challenged myself to use as much as I could - so lots of layering, few more words and here is what I came up with!

I hope you've enjoyed a little tour of my pages from January's papers - do keep sharing your beautiful pages over in our Facebook group - it has been lovely to see them all.

November Layouts on a rainbow....

Hello everyone, Katherine here with a selection of rainbow pages for you!  Here is where it started, using a beautiful rainbow paper from Cocoa Vanilla's Happiness collection called Good Vibes.  I started using cutting different sized circles from it (using a 6" strip so I could fit it through my die-cut machine!).  Once I had the circles I used my watercolours to try and match the colours and painted strips down the page, adding some flicks of colour.  I then used one of the new Vicki Boutin stencils I picked up at the retreat and added some hexagons.  Next I added my circles and to add a little more interest to some I used a BoBunny circle set of texture stamps.  Final bits were to add some Vicki Boutin mixed media ephemera in co-ordinating colours, and also some of her watercolour stickers which went perfectly!

Obviously I had some circle punched waste left over from the page, so I put it to good use.

I backed the paper with lots of punched strips from white cardstock, then added it to the woodgrain paper from Cocoa Vanilla's Unforgettable collection - love a woodgrain!  Again I used the Vicki Boutin ephemera pack to mix in with my page - these are photos we had in a photo booth at a friend's wedding and I loved the speech bubbles in the ephemera pack as it brought out all the fun!

If you want a really quick and easy rainbow page, then this paper by Pink Fresh called Just a little Lovely.  The ink drips and banner are all done for you.

I added a little texture paste and distress ink, layered up some more ephemera and stuck in some hidden journalling behind the photo....as well as another Vicki Boutin water colour sticker too.

I hope you've enjoyed a quick look at these colourful papers and do share any of your creations over in our Facebook group ATDML # Create.
