November Virtual Crop class with Ann

Happy Sunday to you all and I hope you have carved out some creative time for yourself today to join in our virtual crop. My layouts this month combine the lovely Fernwood papers from Vicki Boutin with a couple of vintage treats from Simple Stories and Basic Grey.

We make our own title with jumbo 2"x3" letters in this class which allows you to bring in lots of difference patterns and textures without it being too overwhelming. Add a touch of fussy cutting with the lovely florals and you're all set!

Instructions can be found here and I hope you enjoy!

November Virtual Crop class with Tracy

Hi, Tracy here!  I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday, and are feeling creative!  I've got two nice easy pages for you, that draw the eye to the photograph and would work with almost any subjects.

I love Pinkfresh, and working with the 6x6 pad of papers in this range meant I was able to bring lots of patters together on one page, whilst still keeping a balance of whitespace so it doesn't feel crowded.

There are loads of options when it comes to the sentiments and elements in the Ephemera and there's even some extra choice on one of the papers, with cut apart elements.

If you were at Retreat last month and tried your hand at "hand written titles" this is a perfect opportunity to add that little bit extra to your page with one.

I hope you enjoy it, and look forward to seeing your versions in the facebook group.

You can download your instructions here:

November virtual crop class with Karen Leahy

Hi Everyone, Dolly here with a very simple but fun class today using the gorgeous Enchanted Papers from Memory Place and the Prima Stickers.

I have made three class pages although the last one I have called a bonus page as it is pretty much already done as soon as you get your papers out of the kit!

This is one of the pages that I hope you enjoy and do remember to share your creations in our facebook group.

You can find the full instructions here.

October Virtual Crop Class - Bungalow Lane with Ann

Totally seasonal set of three layouts from me today for your noon virtual crop class this October (and you evern got an extra hour in bed for this thanks to the clocks changing today!)

I love these Bungalow Lane papers and you can make them stretch really far! I did however misplace my ephemera pack and only located it after I had made all the pages so you have plenty to embellish with if you were lucky enough to get a kit!

Pop over HERE to download your instructions and enjoy creating!

October Virtual Crop Class - Vintage Artistry In the Leaves with Katherine

This class uses the gorgeous In the Leaves papers from 49 and Market and it is perfect for Autumnal photos or landscape pictures.  There are loads of gorgeous elements in the kit to play with, from the rub-ons to the laser cut ephemera.  In the class we make 3 layouts, the first starts with creating inky backgrounds and co-ordinating the rub-ons, the next layering and the last using the papers as a base and accenting them with the die-cut laser pieces.

I hope you enjoy creating your pages as much as I did.  Please find a link to the class here.

October Virtual crop class by Karen Leahy

 Hello everyone, Dolly here.

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and coped better with the heat and the dry than I did. I am very much a winter girl, though I could easily be swayed into summer by the bright summery colours of the gorgeous kit for this class. The stunning 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Mango papers are stunning and a joy to play with.

The class has three pages for you - all quite simple and I hope you enjoy creating them. You will; have loads left over too.

This is one of the three pages.

Find the instructions here.

I hope you will share what you create in our facebook group.

Have fun everyone x

September Vitrual Crop Class with Tracy

Hi, Hey, Hello!  How are you all?  I hope you are all enjoying the weekend, and your virtual crop day.

I've been getting last minute bits and pieces ready for our girls trip next weekend to the Jurassic coast, with some surprises lined up for the birthday girl!  But I digress... I'm really happy to be bringing you a 3 page class with P13's Beyond the Sea!

These papers conjure up nostalgic memories of beach days when I was a kid, and all those elements on the papers are exactly the kind of thing I expect to see on the beaches across the South West Coast.

Since I was lucky enough to have a week in Cornwall, it was pretty perfect for me! :)

I hope you enjoy this class that incorporates a simple but distressed look for the first page, some inkyness on the second and a (hopefully uncomplicated) folding element on the third!

As always, if you have any questions I endeavor to be on hand throughout the day to hopefully help.

Due to a technical hiccup in September the instructions have been emailed to all who purchased a kit. If you have yet to receive these please do drop an email to mel@atripdownmemorylane.co.uk  and please remember to share your layouts with us on the Facebook page.

Class 13 - Time of my Life with Tracy

Are you ready for the final class of the weekend?  This bumper class has four layouts, but they are all super quick to get the weekend wrapped up, leaving you time to get back to those challenges!

The finale of the movie is "(I've had the) Time of My Life", this class keeps that in mind whilst we document our best memories (in my case memories of my recent summer holiday to Cornwall in July).

The Adventure Awaits papers from Memory Place are so easy to work with, lending themselves naturally to quick layouts with lots of layers.  I loved the balloons so much, and the journaling cards and elements on the pages just make it all so easy for the pages to come together.

Here's two of the layouts

I hope you have a lot of fun with this cute range, and I can't wait to see your pages in the facebook group.  As always I'm around if you have any questions just give me a shout.

Download your instructions here.

Class 12 Nobody puts baby in the corner with Ann

Happy Sunday afternoon to you all! Lets crack on with the penultimate class of the cybercrop inspired by one of the most famous lines from the film spoken by Johnnie (our beloved Patrick Swayze) who decalres towards the end of the film "nobody puts baby in the corner".

For this class my designs features corner elements with sun rays bursting from the bottom left corner of layout 1 and a multi-photo layout 2 with the focus of the design in opposite corners.  The collection used is Obed Marshall Especiale where I split the colourways of the kit to have a citrus inspired layout 1 and a blue/green inspired layout 2. Lots of elements remaining too for another page (and perfect if you have holidays in Spain!)

You can find the instructions for the class here and I look forward to seeing your pages. Tracy closes the show next at 6pm where we hope you will join her for The Time of your Life!

Challenge 5 - OVERLOAD - Kellerman's Cybercrop 2022

Your 5th and final challenge for our Kellerman's cybercrop is based on another song from the soundtrack, played when the rain lashed down and Johnnie and baby were in the car.

For this challenge we want you to OVERLOAD your layout either by leaving minimal white space, or by using up lots of lots of a small item to overload or cluster an area. Use up those little gems, diecuts, tags or whatever and overload your page.

I am lookig forward to seeing how creative people get with this one! Do share in our Facebook challenge gallery so we can all overload each other with compliments!

Next up is the penultimate class of the weekend where NOBODY puts baby in the Corner!! See you at 4pm

Class 11 - She's like the wind with Tricia

Good afternoon campers

Thanks so much for joining us for day 3!! I hope you have enjoyed getting involved with all the classes and challenges this weekend!

For this class we'll be using Paige Evans 'Splendid' to celebrate the fresh air and all that it means! Whether it be breezy days in the country, florals, outdoor festivals and events or a bike ride!

We made the most of celebrating our missed events over the last couple of years with a garden party with garden games, BBQ and outdoor silent disco! These bright rainbow tones would be perfect for a wide range of photo options.

I have also taken the opportunity to bring the outdoor indoor by fussy cutting some flowers and teaming with the hand-stitched motifs that are included in this range. So grab your outdoors photos and click here to get started and don't forget to share your versions over on the facebook page!

Class 10 Some Kind of Wonderful with Debs

Hello and welcome to your first class of the day.  I hope you have all had a wonderful  weekend so far, a good nights rest last night and are raring to go this morning.

In this class we will be using the utterly gorgeous products from Jen Hadfield’s “Live and Let Grow’ range to create pages that use a patterned paper background but don’t detract from showcasing your photo. (There may be a little fussy cutting of all the wonderful elements on these papers but some of the work has been done for you in the pack of die-cut elements).

I hope you enjoy this gentle start to your Sunday scrapping with these delicious products.

Instructions and example layouts can be found here. Can’t wait to see what you do with them.

See you back here at noon for the next class with Tricia.

Class 9 - The Lake with Karen

Hello again everyone, Dolly back for the last class for today. I hope you have had fun playing along and chatting today with all the super classes and challenges.

This 9th class uses the fabulous 49th and Market Shore papers, die cuts and rub ons and it is such an awesome collection.

Needless to say it is watery themed, but water can mean anything (but the class is inspired by The Lake in the film with the famous dance lift practice scenes between Johnnie and Baby)

I have three pages for you to create and still lots of bits left over for other projetcts.

This is one of the pages

As always we would love to see what you come up with so do share your pages in the facebook group.

You can find the instructions here and we will then see you back in the morning for another Kellerman's cybercrop challenge.

Class 8 - Hold Your Frame with Mel

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Cyber Crop so far!

My next class is entitled Hold Your Frame which is a quote from the film where Johnny is teaching Baby to dance. In this class we will use the gorgeous Asuka Dusty Blue Floral collection to make two layouts each with a different type of frame to show off your photos.

Click Here for the Instructions and don't forget to upload your class and challenge pages over on ATDML # Create as we love to see what you have been making.

Challenge 3 - The Water Lift - Kellerman's Cybercrop 2022

I hope you have been having fun now we are just over halfway through our 2022 Cybercrop inspired by the film Dirty Dancing.  The Water Lift challenge, your 3rd challenge, is inspired by Johnnie and Baby practicing the dance lift in the water over and over until they get it right.  We want you to scraplift one of the Design Team layouts for this challenge. Take your pic from some of these, then share your scraplift in our challenge album on Facebook.

Class 7 - This is my Space with Katherine

Hello and welcome to Class 7 this class it is all about space - inspired by the dance session near the end of the film!  We have some beautiful papers from the Sweet Rush collection by Vicky Boutin as well as lots of colourful stickers which I make use of.

We make 3 layouts in this class, though there is enough paper for more and it is all about white space and leaving areas of a page emptier.  I look at different ways that you can leave a bit of space and draw the eye into the picture as well as how you can use stickers and paint flicks (if you like) to add just a tiny bit more!

I hope you enjoy it. The Instructions are here

Be back at 6pm for the next challenge - The Water Lift!

Class 6 - Baby with Ann

I hope you have all been enjoying your cybercrop so far (we do so very much enjoy putting them together for you!) I am here now sharing class 6 called Baby - inspired by the name of the main female lead in the Dirty Dancing films.  For this class I was inspired to create two pages, one featuring baby elements and a small photo, the second all about my baby (my bike!) and cycling adventures with my husband.  You can chose to be inspired either by my class pages where I have used PhotoPlay Cabin Fever papers, or by the class name and go with baby photos, smaller elements or something/someone you call Baby.

Class instructions can be found >>here<< if you have the kit, or scraplift with your own papers, we really don't mind.  You can also share your pages in our class gallery on facebook if you like, we love seeing how everyone makes the classes their own.

Katherine will join you next at 4pm with Class 7 - This is your Space

Class 5 - I carried a watermelon with Tricia

Good afternoon!!

I hope you have been enjoying day 2 of the Kellerman's lakeside crop!

This class will be using the Echo park 'Summer dreams' to try and capture the essence of the kitsch motifs of Kellerman's resort! Pink flamingos, bikinis, cocktails and hot summer sun..... oh and lets not forget the watermelon!!

The 'Summer dreams' has a mix of vintage motifs, hot pinks and summer shades. I loved working with the summer vacation paper which has to create rays of sunshine in graduated tones!  We have teamed up the papers with Shimelle's acrylic shapes to create frosted, floaty embellishments to match the papers.

So click here and we'll get going with the layouts! Don't forget to share your versions over on the facebook page!

Class 4 - 'Where are you Tonight? with Karen

Good morning everyone, Dolly here and I am hoping you are all ready for a day of fun, chatter and scrapping.

I am pleased to bring you your first class of the day using the utterly gorgeous Prima Golden Desert. The papers are just such gorgeous quality and I love the soft palette of the collection.

Whilst the papers are very desert themed, there is plenty of scope to scrap other things too and, with two class pages, you will have plenty left over to play with as well.

The title of the class is 'Where are you tonight?' and so we are focussing on things hidden on your pages.

This is one of the pages I have created for you. It has space for several more photos on a specially hinged flap you will create.

I hope you have fun with this and, as always, we look forward to seeing your pages in the group.

You can find the class instructions here.

Challenge 2 - Do you love me? - Kellerman's Cybercrop 2022

Welcome to day 2 at Kellerman's cybercrop with ATDML and Challenge number 2.

Do you love me? was one of the most popular songs from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack played just after Baby carried her watermelon! For the "Do you love me" challenge we want to feel the love and see hearts and affection on your page. Easy enough right?

Once you have made your challenge page why not share it with us in our Challenge gallery on Facebook for a chance to win a prize from the ATDML team.

Karen continues the cybercrop fun next at 10am with Class no 4 - Where are you tonight?

Class 3 - Big Girls Don't Cry with Debs

Hello All,

Sending a warm South African welcome to the ‘Big Girls don’t Cry’ class where we will explore using large photographs on a page.

This class allows for super quick and easy pages using the gorgeous Simple stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden range. I have been using large prints on layouts for many years and love that they are a convenient way to complete a layout quickly because the photograph covers so much of the space.  Large prints also allow us to add a title, embellishments and journaling ono the photograph without losing or covering any important details on the photo.

Examples and instructions for layouts using extra large photographs can be found here.

I look forward to seeing your large photo layouts.

Hope you all have a wonderfully scrappy weekend.

Debs

Class 2 with Mel - The Cabins

Welcome to the second class of our cybercrop. This class is entitled "Cabins" and this refers to the woodgrain paper in the kit which echoes the rustic wood cabins that the summer residents of Kellermans would stay in.

For this class I used the Memory Place "Hello" collection with some gorgeous blue tones mixed with creams and pinks and naturals. I have created three layouts with the kit, the first of which is below.

Click HERE for the link to the instructions and don't forget to come back at 10pm for Debbie's class. We would love to see your versions of this class so remember to upload your class and challenge pages to our facebook group ATDML # Create
