Class 12 - COVENT GARDEN with Jane

Welcome to Covent Garden station on the Picadilly line and home to shops, restaurants, street performers and lots of other surprises!

When you think of Covent Garden, you think of flowers from when it used to be a flower market and you think of the bohemian environment it is today. Because of this, Bohemian Bazaar papers from Graphic 45 totally fit the bill for any class called ‘Covent Garden’. I also think Covent Garden is full of surprises so I wanted to create a class with a bit of a surprise. At first glance this project looks like an altered book but open it up to discover that this is not a real book but a hollow shell containing a mini-book! I love to layer things up and make them 3D but this is entirely a personal thing and if you're not as keen on 'fussy cutting' as I am then just leave that bit out!

Here are some pictures of my finished project...

Instructions for this class are available in both written form and video (2 of them!)...

How to make the 'fake' book...

How to make the mini album inside...

I hope you enjoy the class.  Don't forget to leave a link to your pages in the comments below - or share your images in our Facebook gallery on ATDML #Create

The final station for today will be Edgeware Road at 10pm where you will meet yet another challenge!
