Loving Emmas Shoppe

On Saturday, in the midst of an otherwise hectic and stressful day I spent a lovely few hours in Marks Tey with the girls from Eclectic Keepsakes who invited me to teach the class for June.

I have really fallen in love with the homespun feel, the Cath Kidston style florals and the gorgeous colours in the Emmas Shoppe collection by Crate paper and I knew I wanted to use that range in my class. It was also another opportunity to indulge my love of all things patchwork!

This is what I came up with - the frame stands up from the rest of the page with foam pads adding extra dimension which I love and my two new favourite purchases (Martha Stewart punches - butterflys and the embossed button) are in evidence of course!

Tomorrow I will share the card i made with the leftovers (more patchwork *smile* )

I believe sometime soon the ladies over on the Eclectic Keepsakes blog may have a couple of kits leftover to sell (with instructions) do take a look at their blog even if you don't want a kit - last months balloon layout by Karen Cole was just fabulous!
