Remember that birdcage I altered? Well, here's what became of it...
I added a painted 'stand' made from chipboard and a cardboard tube. Some lace trim, climbing roses, dangling gems and mounted word stickers .
Inside I put a wooden dowelling 'perch' and perching in the cage is a key with a Tim Holtz set of wings hot glued to it...
I think this will make a nice alternative to a 'new home' card for someone, but for now it's gracing my hall table!
