Good morning everyone!
Scotland has hit snowy season, and while it's been lovely to watch from the window it's been
super nippy outside!
However it has made for some lovely inspiration for some winter pages and I've loved using the Bo Bunny 'Winter wishes' range. This range has a beautiful selection of delicate, subtle colours and includes some frosty vellums glowing with silver details.
The 'Frosted' paper includes stripes made up of a variety of colour and textures and includes some lovely birch branches. I trimmed a selection of these in a variety of thicknesses and layered them over and under some sections of snowflake vellum from the range.
'Wonderland' and 'flurries' inclused some some detailed filigree snowflake and trees with printed pearl accents. I tucked the snowflakes in groups around the page under and over the strips.
Using the remaining black side of 'Flurries' i chopped down 3 sections roughtly about the size of my photo. these sections weren't perfect rectangles but the randomness added to the layering.
I used 4 of the filigree trees tucked into the sides - I varied the layers they were tucked into to give dimension to the trees.
To finish I added the title to the page by cutting the 'let it snow' vellum square and carefully trimming off the first 'Let it snow' I used one of the remaining sections of 'flurries' to create a mount. i slipped this under the snowflake vellum and then added the small 'let it snow' section to the top of the mount and the 2 'let it snow' lines to the bottom.
Pop back throughout the month to take part in our billiant challenges and don't forget to upload it to our facebook pages so we can see what you have been up to!
