There's nothing like a little extra in your stocking so welcome today to your bonus scraplift santa!!!
I love Christmas traditions, even if they start out as jokes! 9 years ago my friends and I decided, with the aid of a Christmas countdown board, to celebrate advent together on Instagram and facebook. Much as I love new graphic styles Christmas is one of those times that you have to go vintage to truly celebrate the traditional stuff.
Nothing says traditional more than the Graphic 45 'Christmas magic collection' and Simple stories 'Vintage Christmas' so I used a mix of these to create the look of a stack of Christmas ephemera on a kitchen table. I wanted to create a stack that looked like wrapping presents, Christmas cards and recipe books.
The large sweeping title section came from Simple stories 'Dear Santa' paper which also features a vintage Ol' St Nick if you want to mix up your design.
The back of this paper also features this gorgeous Jam jar lid gingham design for that old school vintage feel.
The papers are filled with wonderful accents of holly, mistletoe and bows to scatter and accent your photos.
Have a go at create your own vintage inspired layout or why not dig out old Christmas photos and finally make a date to scrapbook them. I hope you all had a happy and healthy Christmas and that you enjoy all that the New year brings!
