  3. I'm making a sample/swatch bookring of ATC's using all the colours of Distress Ink so I can see how they stamp in various ways - pairs of white and cream ATC-sized cardstock pieces stamped first with a text background stamp, then a solid stamp in one corner and then inked over one edge using the blending tool and sponges - a gret way to match various colours for upcoming projects!

  15. Very predictable, but it's got to be my grandsons on the first day of school - first day ever for the youngest, where does the time go? Doesn't seem five minutes since the oldest started & was working out he'd be in Year 4 by the time his newly born brother would join him.

  19. I've just got back pictures from our holiday, during which we drove into Bosnia-Herzegovina to visit Mostar. During the wars in the former Yugoslavian states, the beautiful old bridge was blown up. It's been restored and is beautiful again - I see it a symbol of the resilience of humanity. That's what I want to scrap first. If you every pass that way, Mostar is well worth a visit!

  20. I've just received the 500 photos I ordered and plan on sorting through them - some from earlier years and lots from this year. As I haven't scrapped any photos from this year yet (!!) I'll be starting with those - can't wait!

  21. I've been working on a prototype tissue box cover and have sorted out the method of construction now, so I'm going to make one with pretty embellishments for an old lady I visit regularly. She insists on giving me a bit of lunch when I call and I sometimes take a cake or books for her to read but I thought a handcrafted item made just for her would be a nice way to say thank you.
