A Little Bit Lovely

I am absolutely loving the new range A Little Bit Lovely from PinkFresh.
The colours are gorgeous and so versatile for so many things.
I'd like to share a few pages I have made using this range.

This first page made use of 'waste'! You know me - I hate throwing anything away. I used the piece cut from the wreath paper  because it was such lovely pastel colours on the back and was such an interesting shape. It made for a nice 'splat' under the photo. There wasn't quite enough so I cut a piece of white card in a similar way and just inked it in matching colours (It is the bottom 'splat').

With this one I had fun colouring some of the black and white flowers to match the flowers on the journalling block  - it made for such an easy and coordinated page.

And finally for this one I added some stacked flowers made from scraps and which toned in with the colours.

Over in our facebook group we would LOVE to see what you come up with using this range.

January Virtual Crop Class with Mel

Hi everyone and welcome to my first Virtual Crop class of 2020. I hope the new year is treating you well and that somewhere in amongst all the new years resolutions, health kicks and general newness you are finding time to scrap!

My kit used papers from Bo Bunny Petal Lane and I made three layouts with the kit, one of them is a bit of a wild card layout as it uses a completely different colour palette to the other layouts! It will also give you a chance to break out your mixed media supplies, crayons, watercolours, inks, sprays and mists will all work on layout 2.

Here is the first layout, I wanted to try something different so decided to go for an Art Deco style fan shape rather than regular rectangular layers!

Here is a sneak peek of the second layout. To see the three layouts in full and to download the instructions click HERE.

Please do share your creations (whether with our kit or with your own stash) over on the ATDML # Create Facebook page. We love to see what you have been working on.

January Virtual Crop - Class 2 by Tricia Sutherland

Good afternoon campers :)

Welcome to the first Virtual crop of 2020, I hope you enjoyed Ann's class this morning.

We'll be working with a kit based on Paige Evans 'Whimsical range' . This range is a real mix of everything from stars to flowers and crafty elements.  We'll be creating 3 different layouts all starting with straight line elements but ending up in different places.

Click HERE to read to the instructions and don't forget to upload your finished results to the facebook page or tag us in on Instagram.  Pop back at 2pm for Mel's last class of the day.

January Virtual Crop Class "Snow Patrol" with Ann

Well this is certainly a wintery Sunday morning for those of you waking up to frozen windscreens and more than a chill in the air! Our first virtual crop class of 2020 brings you two layouts using Simple Stories "Snow Patrol" papers perfect for your winter/frosty photos so if you don't have any to hand, wrap up warm and get out there to take some!

As always instructions for this class, featuring two layouts, can be downloaded free HERE and if you didn't get a kit including the Snow Patrol papers do not worry, you can just scraplift my designs and make pages with your own papers. Please share these to our Facebook gallery if you do - we love seeing what you have made.

Tricia is up next at noon with her class for January. Enjoy

January Joy

There are many things to love about a new year but one of them is the new releases for we scrapbookers.

I have been thrilled to start working with two gorgeous paper ranges and expect some more in the coming days from me and from the rest of our awesome design team.

First I would like to share a page made with PinkFresh Studio Just a Little Lovely (and actually I think this range is a LOT lovely)

The gorgeous watercolour wreath begged me for fussy cutting and I decided to mount it on a pinky lilac cardstock to work with the pictures.

This second page was made with Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl and I just loved the colours. The little lady with the paintbrushes begged to be used on this page which showcased my latest two watercolour commissions.

I added a couple of layered  flowers made from scraps from my scraps box (see I DO use the scraps sometimes!)

Till next time - happy crafting everyone.

Get those Christmas pictures scrapped

Happy New Year everyone - I hope 2020 is a fabulous year for you all.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (our was flu filled but we still had a nice time)  I am guessing that you will have taken the odd photo over Christmas! There are some gorgeous papers in store to use to get them scrapped. Both the Simple Stories Vintage Christmas and the Simple Stories Country Christmas are gorgeous ranges.

They are not just useful for Christmas pages though.
