July Virtual Crop Class 3 with Debbie

Debbie brings us her sunshine for class 3 today and two beautiful layouts which you can easily replicate with your own papers if you didn't manage to grab a kit.

As always your free to download instructions to make these pages can be found HERE.
That's it for this month but next month we have a whole weekend of fun planned with our ANNUAL CYBERCROP. Stay tuned for more info coming soon!

July virtual crop class 2 with Tricia

Good afternoon all, I hope you enjoyed Ann's class this morning!

In my class I'll be using the gorgeous Bo Bunny 'Boardwalk' range, full of hot colours and beach themes to create three layouts perfect for the hot weather we have been having.  Your kits have a selection of embellishments that vary so you can create your own unique verson of the layouts however the main structure can be achieved using the papers.

Although the papers have a variety of beach themed strips, water and shells with a little bit of clever planning you can use the cool shades and hot colours for a variety of subjects with a little bit of clever planning.

I hope you enjoy the class - Instructions to make the pages can be found on the ATDML # Create Facebook page (due to a technical hitch on the website) and join us back at 2pm for Debbie's class :)

July Virtual Crop Class 1 with Ann and SS Say Cheese III

Welcome to another Virtual crop day with your ATDML design team and I am first up today with 2 layouts and  bonus project using Simple Stories Say Cheese III collection.  Neither of my main layouts use Disney photos despite this being a Disney themed collection and the style of theme also means you could easily replicate with your own papers.

Instructions to make the pages can be found HERE and we will then be back at noon with another virtual crop class. Enjoy and happy scrapping!

July Virtual Crop Challenge

Hello Scrapbookers and welcome to your July Mood Board challenge ahead of virtual crop day tomorrow. Many of you will be thinking about or off on your holidays soon so this board is for you. Where do you dream of going? Have you been there? are you planning a trip?
The wood and outdoors pictures from this board open up many images you can scrap and you can include bird elements and leaf/branch punches too.  I love the distressed inky feel of the bottom right image and I also like the idea of using the block design with a circle feature of the board itself. Lots of ideas there for you, simply look at the image and be inspired to create.

Look forward to seeing your challenge pages in our Mood board gallery and welcoming you back tomorrow for our Virtual crop day with classes starting at 10am - all free of charge. Come back and follow the link to instructions and images to create and inspire!

Misty Mountains with Kaisercraft

Hello everyone - I wanted to share a couple of pages that I made for the gallery using Kaisercraft's Misty Mountains and how I adapted some of the more feminine touches in this collection for boys.  The colour palette is packed with blues, pinks and purples and the base paper for this layout has a wonderful washed out effect.  I started by adding a little bit more watercolour to the base, using colours from the collection.  I then used the triangular geometric paper to create hexagons as there are several hexagons in the ephemera.  I layered up my photos....there is a long story about Durdle Door - may my children never forget it as an example of a natural arch on a geography exam....but the first time we visited, we were with friends who had twins in a buggy, and it started raining halfway there.  The tea-shop had run out of warm drinks, we became drenched, struggled with a buggy and the mud...it was a marathon adventure no waterproof could protect us from!  This time it was glorious sunshine and we had a sit for  a bit longer on the beach!

Here you can see some of the watercolour and layers of stickers in this range.

Still enjoying watercolour I used similar colours to create a background for all my hearts, there are some beautiful blue flowers in this collection which I layered around my photo, and added a few more of the floral elements to my page as I was in the picture!

There are some beautiful sentiments that you can add to the pages too.

I hope you've enjoyed a quick look at this collection, you can find the papers here.

July Journaling Prompts

Here we are again for another Journaling Prompt to hopefully give you an idea for your titles and journaling on your pages this month. Don't forget to come over to the ATDML # Create Facebook page and share your pages in the Journaling Prompt Gallery.

This month's prompt is:

Conduct an interview with someone or use their answers to questions as the basis for your page.

I have included some examples from my albums as always. I have found that it is a really nice way to capture some of the little snippets that make someone uniquely them at any given point in time.
