No Photo Project Life!

Hello, hello - Karen here with another Project Life page today.

I really wanted to make a Pocket Letter Page but felt that for it to work for me it would have to be a companion page for a normal layout.

I had made this layout earlier in the month and thought that it would be perfect to make a Pocket Letter page to go with it.

I used the same paper range - I'd Rather Be Crafting by Echo Park (love this range so much that I bought all the items in the range that ATDML had).

I thoroughly enjoyed making each little section  and am really going to do this again.

November Virtual Crop Class 3 with Debs

Good Afternoon All, hope you have had a wonderfully scrappy day so far.  I'm enjoying being warm and cosy indoors with my coffee and craft things to hand.

This last class for the day uses the beautiful 'Hello Again' papers from Carta Bella to create two layouts each with a different feel. One with adds a pretty floral touch to the page and the other with a little more funky graphic design feel to it.

Instructions for this class can be found here.  And while you are visiting the ATDML shop have a little mosey around the new products, after all its the perfect day for a little internet shopping. Be sure to let me know if there s something I should have and might have missed.

Looking forward to seeing all your fabulous layouts. You can upload photos of your pages to the Created By ATDML Facebook group.

Keep warm and have a happy weekend.

November Virtual Crop - Class 2 with Katherine

Hello Virtual Croppers!  I have 3 very Christmas-ish pages for you today.  You can add photos from previous years, or just leave spaces for them.  The pages are all fairly straight forward, there is a bit of tearing and I do use pretty much all of the green dot paper in these pages.

For my 2nd page we create a torn border, you can change the elements as there are plenty of journal cards left over to choose from, so you can get one to match your photo.

My last page is a star wreath - and I think this is my favourite.  It's a really fun way to create a Christmas page with left over bits of paper - again lots of green, and there is some green on some of the journal cards if you need a bit more.

I hope you enjoy the class and join in and share any pages you make.

November Virtual Crop Class 1 with Karen

Hello, hello. Karen here up first for the November Virtual Crop.

This month I have three pages created with Bo Bunny's Provence range. If you don't have one of the kits you are still very welcome to join in using your own stash and make your own version of the pages.

Page 1 - Charming
I used the trees on this paper to reflect the trees in the background of my photograph - a typical one taken on my phone when I wasn't looking!

Layout 2 - Sleepy Head
The colours of the papers were perfect to scrap this photo of Kiera in the land of dreams.  I still neet to think of what I want to say on the journal card sticking out of the pocket.

Layout 3 - Wish
I loved the colours of this piece of patterned paper and it coordinated beautifully with a photo of Gracia blowing a dandelion clock.

Hope you have a happy scrappy weekend and please share the pages you make on our Facebook page.

Katherine is up at 12 noon, as always I am excited to see what paintiness she has gotten up to.

This image says inks and paints and stamps and colour to me, but how will it inspire you?
See you back here tomorrow at 10am for your first class of the day.

November Scraplift Challenge

Hello, hello lovlies.

This month I have scraplifted a page from the October Gallery, by Jane, which can be found on the ATDML shop website on the right under Information.

I was inspired by Jane's beautiful layout '1998'.  I loved the clusters of element and the little pops of colour.

For my layout I used a larger photo and utalised the pattern on the paper at the bottom and right of my photo.  I substituted hearts for the triangles on the banner and made my clusters from stickers which I stuck to card before trimming and mounting on foam pads.

As always, I am really excited to see what you come up with this month.

Happy Scraplifting x
