October virtual crop class with Sheree

Hi everyone, I hope you’re enjoying a nice relaxing weekend and maybe get a bit of time to do some scrapping!

This month my virtual crop kit class is using the Vicki Boutin Bright and Bold collection – I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed using this. I love bright colours!

I have 4 layouts for you this month. There is a little bit of fussy cutting but its mostly straight lines that can be done on a trimmer.

There is a whole sticker book of stickers to use so don’t be shy when using them for embellishing your pages.

Some of the papers in the kit make stunning backgrounds on their own like this fabulous wreath page:

I do love my tone on tone colourways so couldn’t resist an all blue page using another fabulous background as the base:

But I have to say that the bright colours won out and I absolutely loved the simplicity of this page using large tags and bright papers with a little bit of stencilling for the background:

I hope you enjoy creating with this collection as much as I have.

We would love to see what you create, so feel free to share your layouts in the facebook group.

You'll find the instructions in the drive here.

October Virtual Crop Class 1 with Mel using Wanderlust Explorer

Hello and welcome to the first class of our Virtual Crop for October.

I got to work with the glorious Wanderlust Explorer from 49 & Market which was perfect for documenting our summer travels. I made three pages which will bookend my Japan trip album, two from our outbound journey and one for the return.

You can find the full instructions here on the google drive.

Don't forget to share your creations with us over on ATML # Create, we love to see what you have made with your kits whether you have followed the designs exactly or taken the kit and used it in an entirely different way.

Come back at 12 when it is Sheree's turn to share her class with you.

September virtual crop class with Ann using Asuka Studios

Afternoon scrappy ones - I hope your September has been fun.

I am last up for todays virtual crop trio with a couple of layouts using Asuka Studio's fun collection "Get a Clue". Whilst the papers have an obvious Sherlock Holmes theme I have used them to capture memories of a day in Pompeii on layout one and of a day playing librarian and focusing on the great book elements for layout two.

The Pompeii layout features a little interactive book to showcase some extra photo which you can skip and just have as an additional non-interactive photo if you prefer.

Instruction as always in our Google Drive (all files start 0925) and we love seeing your pages so do share if you are so inclined.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

September virtual crop class with Cara

My virtual crop kit class this month uses the natural earthy tones of Arden Creative Studios Vintage Makers Essential collection. The neutral colour palette enables you to use both colour and black & white/sepia photos.

I have made 3 layouts, each using layered papers and laser/die cuts with distressed and inked elements. The double sided pieces enable you to use either the patterned or  plain sides or in the case of the flowers and leaves to switch from a left to right profile.

I hope you enjoy making these layouts and the versatility of the laser/die cuts. You will have some paper offcuts and laser cuts left over so we would love to see what other layouts you can create -  feel free to share these in the Facebook group.

Full instructions can be located as usual in our drive folder.

September virtual crop class with Tracy

Welcome to your virtual crop weekend! I hope you're all well.

This month I've got an assortment of designers, showcasing how you can take left over sheets from completely different collections and make them work together!

Our first layout let's the leafy design in this Vicki Bouton paper shine.

Next week have a super quick layered number, with a variety of photo options. This layout will work with one or two 6x4 landscape, a 4x6 portrait, or a combination of different sized photos like I've used.

Lastly, pleasing the fussy cutting fans, we have a flowing floral sweep, that makes your family photo the focal point!

As always we love to see what you do, so please share in the Facebook group.

You'll find the instructions in the drive here.

August Virtual Crop with Mel

Hi All, I am writing this in July about to head off on our trip to Japan, by the time this is posted I should be nearly on my way home!

I worked with the beautiful Summer Porch collection from 49 & Market and made three layouts for you this month.

As always find the instructions here on the 2025 Virtual Crops Google Drive Folder.

August Virtual Crop Class with Sheree using Echo Park Firefly

Hi everyone, I hope you’re enjoying a nice relaxing weekend with maybe a bit of scrapping on the side!

This month my virtual crop kit class is using the Firefly collection from Echo Park. Fireflies aren’t a thing in the UK but hopefully I’ll show you how you can still use this kit. It would be perfect for toddler photos as many of the sentiments could be used for that.

Anyway this month there are 4 layouts that I have created. I’ll have you creating a giant tag, and also showing you a couple of different ways of doing layouts with multiple photos and also a layered banner!

Thinking about it now, you could also use photos of gardening to go with some of the sentiments. “Reach for the stars” reminds me of my tomato plants (its my first year growing veg). I have enough bits leftover that I may still do a gardening related layout just for fun!

I’d love to see what you create, so feel free to share your layouts in the facebook group.

You'll find the instructions in the drive here.
