Hello everyone, welcome to the last of our April Virtual Crop classes. This month I worked with the lovely "So Happy Together" collection from Simple Stories.

I made two layouts with my kit the first of which is below. Click on this link to see the second layout and the instructions.

As always please do join us on the ATDML # Create Facebook page and share what you make.

April Virtual Crop with Katherine

Hello everyone, I hope you are keeping well and had a lovely Easter.

Here is my class using a mixture of papers, though the majority come from Studio Lights and their Aviation collection.  If you have the kit you will get to play with some of the beautiful rice papers that co-ordinate with their papers too.  There are 3 pages, all of them with a vintage look and only one which is very inky!  I hope you enjoy them!

You can find a link to the instructions here

April Vitrual Crop Class with Karen

I have a very simple class this month as I am sure a lot of you are wonderfully scrapped out after a fabulous time away at a real life crop.

I have worked with the Prima Farm sweet farm collection but I hope this demonstrates you do NOT have to use it for farm themed pages, though of course you can.

There are two class pages plus a bonus page and, as always, I hope you will share what you make in our facebook group.

This is one of the pages.

March Virtual crop with Tricia Sutherland

Good Morning campers!!!

I'll be getting stuck in to the 'Bee happy' range from Photoplay today!  These papers are gorgeously themed with bee and honeycomb motifs and buzzing with hot summer reds, yellows and some gorgeous teal blues.

The aim of the day it to take inspiration from the layered honeycombs to create dimensions and impact across all three pages!

The best part is they can be adapted to suit a range of outdoor themes from summer fields to concerts and much more and the pages coming in clashing prints you can really create impact using soft florals and 70's geometrics.

The papers come with a selection of die cuts that cover a range of topic and some of the printed florals are begging to be fussy cut!  so click here to get your instructions and don't forget to join us over on the facebook page to share the results of the day!

March Virtual Crop Class with Karen Leahy

Good morning everyone, Dolly here with another virtual crop class for you, this time using the gorgeous Paige Evans Bungalow Lane.

I love the quality of these papers and they have such a fabulous mix of geometirc shapes and florals that just work so well toegther.

I have two class pages for you today and there is so much left over to play with. I have given you choices so that you really can use any of the papers in the kit for the background mounts on these two pages and still have lots left. It should give you a lot more flexibility in your choices to match whatever photos you use.

This is one of the class pages this month

As always please do share you pages in the facebook group so we can all enjoy them.

49 and Market Vintage Artistry Anywhere

We've been sent some beautiful papers this month from 49 and Market and if you haven't used this manufacturer before they are definitely worth a look at.  The papers are heavy, fabulous for distressing the edges of and adding ink too (I've not tried spritzing them yet but have added extra distress ink colour to them).  The embellishments you get with the collections are also gorgeous and I have been particularly impressed with the rub-on sheets....so impressed that my whole layout was pretty much based around one of the sheets!  You get 6 sheets in a back along with the tool for removing them from the backing - they go on beautifully and blend into the page.

I used the top right corner sheet for this page, it pulls lots of colours from the map papers in this collection and has lots of paint splatters around the edge, so this was the inspiration for my page.

I started with 2 areas of blue distress ink, building up the colour and then use a Stampers Anonymous map stamp that I had and roughly stamped in a darker blue ink over the top.  I then went in with lots of splatters of different blue coloured ink and added on the rub-ons.  They are great as you can cut them apart, so I was careful to cut and adjust them so not too much was lost behind the photo and not on display!  The last bit was to add some gauze and I used (and gutted) one of the papers to go behind my white card stock....mainly as I had an accidental blue splodge in the corner of my white card and needed to make it look like a deliberate part of the design!

Here you can see the detail in the rub-ons, it has definitely gone up several levels since I last used them on my pages!
