January 2025 Virtual Crop with Mel

Hello and welcome to the last class of the January 2025 Virtual Crop. This class gave me a nice chance to look back at some of our favourite memories from Christmas and get some of them scrapped. For some reason I am terrible about getting my festive photos scrapped... I think it is because by the time I get around to printing them I am not feeling at all Christmassy so this class gave me a bit of a push to get them done.

I've made three layouts with this kit although when I came to add the blog post I realised that one of them is a similar concept to one of Debs' from last month but who doesn't love a circle bauble layout?!

Your instructions can be found HERE in the 2025 Virtual Crop Google Drive Folder

Don't forget to share your layouts over on the ATDML # Create Facebook Page!

January Virtual Crop class with Ann

On such a blustery chilly day my pages may well make you feel even colder, so wrap up warm before you read on!

A lovely mix of wintery patterened papers and diecut elements in cool tones make up the kit for this class but the layouts are nice and simple and easy to pull together.

If you were lucky enought to get some snow earlier this month or indeed have been away somewhere snowy the snowflake elements will be perfect - or just capture the start of 2025 as it was chilly (at least where I am!).  No kit no bother, these layouts are great for scraplifting to to inspire the start of your page.

As always your instructions and the three layout images I made can be found in our Drive folder.
Don't forget the left overs from this class will make wonderful elements for your January Calendar pages if you are playing along with that again in 2025.

Enjoy my class, and Mel rounds up our virtual crop class today at 2pm.

January 2025 Virtual Crop Class with Tracy

Happy New Year!  I'm allowed to say that this plate in January for two reasons, 1) I've not seen most of you yet this year, and 2) I'm up first for your January Virtual Crop!

I hope you have had a fine start to 2025, and have lots of fun times booked in throughout the year to play with pretty paper, and spend making memories with good friends!

I've designed this months class using Vicki Boutin papers.  Who doesn't love a bit of VbB to brighten their January up?

My first layout features an interesting cut, that I think looks really striking on paper, but it did turn out to be a wee bit complicated to explain in the instructions, so I've included some diagrams and measurements, which I hope make some sense!

The second layout includes a bit of getting messy (but not that messy, I promise).  I used white gesso to tone down the background paper, so my photo and the elements could pop.  Yes that's a pic of me (and Rik) circa 2001 with braids down to my thighs! haha

The last layout uses up some more of the ephemera, but there is tons of paper and ephemera left for you to continue playing!

The instructions for all three layouts in the class are in the shiny new VC 2025 folder in the google drive, which is here

Don't forget we love to see your layouts, so please snap a pic and share in the facebook group! 🩷
