May Virtual Crop Class with Tracy & Especial by American Crafts

Hello crafty people. I hope you are having a great weekend, and that the weather is being kind, I'm here with your last class of the day.

I'm lucky enough to be crafting with friends this weekend in Kent, having spent last weekend in Bristol crafting with Mel and the Welsh girls.  Lucky, lucky, lucky me... 🎶

Today I've got some really quick and easy layouts using this really fun range that's giving me all the spanish vibes, and increasing the levels of excitement for my holiday to Tenerife in June!

First we do a super quick tear, cut and stick layout, which comes together really quickly, and celebrates the photo!

But it wouldn't be one of my classes without a bit of ink, so in our second layout we use the title element in the kit, as a stencil, before we use it on the page as the title!

Lastly we finish off with another super quick layout that really celebrates the fabulous camera paper, and features round tags!

You'll find the instructions in the drive here

I really hope you enjoy this one, and look forward to seeing your versions! Share with us in our facebook group ATDML#Create

April VC class with Mel & Echo Park Summer Vibes

Welcome to the final class of today's Virtual Crop. This month I worked with Echo Park Summer Vibers and althouh I haven't managed any beach pictures from 2025 yet I do have some from previous years on my "to be scrapped" pile.

I have a constant struggle with the A & B sides of papers and often want to use both so in this kit I went for two sheets of the papers so I could do just that! I love a grid page but wanted to mix things up with the size of the elements so this layout builds upon that idea and the other one features an idea for using up all those stickers you might have hanging around and combines it with a clean background for balance between busy and calm.

Find the instructions for both layouts over on our 2025 Virtual Crop Google Drive Here.

April Virtual Crop Class with Tricia and Vicki Boutin

Good Morning all!

I'm off outdoors (both in real life and on the page) today

Today I'll be busting the sticker set from the Discover create collection across three pages that celebrate days outdoors but could be easily adapted for other occasions.

The first Layout has lots of options for making it your own, Using the strips of your choice from the 'Non-Fiction' paper you can chance up the feel of the page from calm woodland to summer day, cosying up with a book or pink pastel. Play around with the strips and your photo to get what works best for you.

On the second page we'll be making all the papers do the heavy lifting. using foam pads I've created 3 clusters with dimension to add a bit of depth to the page.

For the third page i'll be lifting one of the main elements from 'All around' and pivoting it onto 'Discover to create a bubbly banner reaching across the page.  Although i've used a photo of sensory play, the colours on these papers would work perfectly for a range of subjects from spa days, restful afternoons or creative days.

My favourite part is seeing how you adapt these layouts to your photos so please do share with us over on the ATDML create facebook page. Click here to get started!

Happy crafting x

April Virtual Crop Class with Tracy and 49 & Market

Hello crafters, and welcome to another virtual crop weekend!  The forecast for today is hot hot hot, so I hope you stay cool whilst joining the classes. I'll be in the city, cheering on my London Marathon 2025 team, and I cannot wait! I really do love my job, it's going to be such fun!

First up today, we've got some paper weaving, and inky fun too!  I loved all the designs on the 8x6 papers, and wanted to get as many onto my page as possible, without it being busy, so a played with the papers and weaved them into a beautiful element on the page.

Then I got inky, and had some fun with layers!

I hope you love the class as much as I enjoyed making it.  You'll find the instructions here in the google drive.

Don't forget to share your pages in our facebook group, and just ask if you have any questions.

March Virtual crop class with Tricia and P13

Good afternoon everyone

I hope you have been enjoying this Month's VC!

This month I've been going full on floral with P13 'flowerish' range.  Full of soft, pastel shades and country inspired motifs it's perfect for the BETTERish weather we have been getting recently.

With the wreath layout , I wanted to fill in the gaps and create a complete circle. With Flowerish, all the elements fit together brilliantly and complement with interchangeable accents so seamless they just blend.
There are a lot of soft pinks and whites but I wanted to add in these fuschia flowers for lottle pops of colour.

The backing style papers are great for subtle touches that give that 'little bit different' touch and the kits include these gorgeous gold elements to give your pages a bit of sunshine glimmer.

So click here to get the instructions and lets get started.  Don't forget to share over on our facebook page so we can see what you have been up to.

March Virtual Crop Class with Ann & 49&M Rust and Revs

Happy Sunday from me and I hope this class finds you well wherever you are today.

More 49&Market goodness from me today in this months virtual crop class kit.  There is a more masculine feel to this Rust & Revs collection but I have still used for a couple of silly selfies!  You might want to grab yourself some plain old boring silver paperclips for this class too as I feature 9 of  them on one of my pages (little glimpse of that below!!)

As always instructions can be found on our Google Drive folder HERE and we encourage you to upload your classes to our Facebook page Created by ATDML as well. My class is saved as 0325-Ann.pdf in the folder.

Enjoy!

March Virtual Crop Class, with Tracy

With less than two weeks until the Spring Retreat, I hope the classes today get your mojo going ready for a weekend of fun! I'm up first today with Simple Stories, For the Record

I've used these fun bright papers to create some nice simple but fun layouts, that use lots of layered clusters and really makes use of the calendar ephemera pack.

With a coordinating diagonal element on two of the pages, you could make these two layouts work as a double layout.

The third layout really celebrates the gorgeous camera paper, with another layered cluster.

I can't wait to see some of you next month, and really look forward to having some fun with you all.

Don't forget to share your layouts over on the ATDML # Create Facebook Page!

February Virtual Crop with Ann & Photoplay

Last but by no means least is your 3rd Virtual crop class today using Photoplay Wildflower Dreams. Patterned papers and a fun 12x12 sticker sheet form this kit which is super versatile to use for a many themes.

An option to bring a little stencilling in here with these lovely spring colours.

I hope you enjoy!

As always the instructions can be downloaded HERE.

February Virtual crop with Tricia

Good afternoon everyone

It's been so lovely to play with this months range of papers.  I've been sucked into the world of Vicki Boutin and her 'Print shop', full of creative and nature themed elements and some gorgeous chipboard elements.

The 'cross my heart' paper has some cracking asymmetric stripes on one side and this inspired me to revisit a walk in the woods we had taken a while back.

I loved adding in the leaves, birds, butterflies and snails to continue the theme and the page included hidden journalling to tell the tale.

There are some crafty elements to the elements too giving the perfect opportunity to scrap those retreat, crop or solo scraping sessions.  I created some raised banners for a bit of pop

The last layout could be used to display multiple photos of a range of subjects... particularly all that you love.  It could be a person, a day, an event, your favourite keepsakes or that day you conquered that mountain at last.

So click here and head to the album to get started.

February Virtual Crop Class with Tracy

Happy Virtual Crop Day ATDMLers!  I hope you are having a good weekend, even if it has been mostly rainy and cold.  I for one CANNOT wait for the longer days and warmer weather to arrive.

I'm up first today with a class coming to you live from Sunny Wales, where I am away for the weekend scrapbooking with some dear friends ❤️ I really hope you enjoy this class and can't wait to see your versions.

Working with the absolutely stunning Prima Marketing Spring Abstract Collection, I was inspired by the wreath paper, and the pink inkiness that appears throughout the range.

I've made 3 pages, that all come together really quickly, once the fiddly bit is out of the way!

I especially liked the chance to make a page featuring photo's with Rik over the years and it has sparked an idea for another page, or bigger project, to celebrate Freddie's 18th in May.

Your instructions can be found HERE in the 2025 Virtual Crop Google Drive Folder

January 2025 Virtual Crop with Mel

Hello and welcome to the last class of the January 2025 Virtual Crop. This class gave me a nice chance to look back at some of our favourite memories from Christmas and get some of them scrapped. For some reason I am terrible about getting my festive photos scrapped... I think it is because by the time I get around to printing them I am not feeling at all Christmassy so this class gave me a bit of a push to get them done.

I've made three layouts with this kit although when I came to add the blog post I realised that one of them is a similar concept to one of Debs' from last month but who doesn't love a circle bauble layout?!

Your instructions can be found HERE in the 2025 Virtual Crop Google Drive Folder

Don't forget to share your layouts over on the ATDML # Create Facebook Page!

January Virtual Crop class with Ann

On such a blustery chilly day my pages may well make you feel even colder, so wrap up warm before you read on!

A lovely mix of wintery patterened papers and diecut elements in cool tones make up the kit for this class but the layouts are nice and simple and easy to pull together.

If you were lucky enought to get some snow earlier this month or indeed have been away somewhere snowy the snowflake elements will be perfect - or just capture the start of 2025 as it was chilly (at least where I am!).  No kit no bother, these layouts are great for scraplifting to to inspire the start of your page.

As always your instructions and the three layout images I made can be found in our Drive folder.
Don't forget the left overs from this class will make wonderful elements for your January Calendar pages if you are playing along with that again in 2025.

Enjoy my class, and Mel rounds up our virtual crop class today at 2pm.

January 2025 Virtual Crop Class with Tracy

Happy New Year!  I'm allowed to say that this plate in January for two reasons, 1) I've not seen most of you yet this year, and 2) I'm up first for your January Virtual Crop!

I hope you have had a fine start to 2025, and have lots of fun times booked in throughout the year to play with pretty paper, and spend making memories with good friends!

I've designed this months class using Vicki Boutin papers.  Who doesn't love a bit of VbB to brighten their January up?

My first layout features an interesting cut, that I think looks really striking on paper, but it did turn out to be a wee bit complicated to explain in the instructions, so I've included some diagrams and measurements, which I hope make some sense!

The second layout includes a bit of getting messy (but not that messy, I promise).  I used white gesso to tone down the background paper, so my photo and the elements could pop.  Yes that's a pic of me (and Rik) circa 2001 with braids down to my thighs! haha

The last layout uses up some more of the ephemera, but there is tons of paper and ephemera left for you to continue playing!

The instructions for all three layouts in the class are in the shiny new VC 2025 folder in the google drive, which is here

Don't forget we love to see your layouts, so please snap a pic and share in the facebook group! 🩷
