Good morning Campers ...

Although it's not camping weather here in Edinburgh, we have had a bit of snow in time for Hogmanay so we will be going into the New year in a chilly fashion.

Both of my pages celebrate snow in 2 different ways but there is plenty room for manoeuvre for Christmas and wintery pages both inside and out.

Vicki Boutin(sel)*  Peppermint Kisses has some lovely elements which csn be celebrated as is or fussy cut to really make the most of them.  The papers are also brilliant for backing papers but can be cropped down to create brand new elements for your pages.

So click here to get the instructions and don't forget to join us over on the Facebook page to share your creations.

* got to make it festive eh Ann ;)

This is one of the pages

November Virtual Crop Class with Mel Hand

This month I worked with some autumnal Simple Stories papers from the Acorn Lane and Harvest Lane collections. The layout shown above has some optional inking and stenciling along with some fringing. If you are not up for the fringing or the ink it can easily be adapted to skip these elements.

My second layout is quite straightforward and utilises the lovely patterns of the papers to create a grid design layout. Find instructions for both layouts HERE

Don't forget to share your creations with us over on the ATDML # Create Facebook group

November Virtual Crop Class with Ann Freeman

Well it has got quite chilly hasn't it? But you probably have a number of autumnal photos wrapped up warm, perhaps for harvesting/pumpkins or other outdoors photos or like me enjoying a wholesome and nourishing home cooked stew from a good friend.

My class pages today (and there are 3 of them!) use the fabulous American Crafts – Farmstead Harvest collection which is a versatile Autumnal range.

You can fussy cut the entire foliage paper whilst watching some TV as I use most of that on my pages..then lots of layering a smattering of stitching too.

Please share your pages if you have a play with this kit - I would love to see them.
The instructions, as always, can be found here.

Happy Sunday x
Ann

November Virtual Crop Class with Tracy Annunziato

First up today is a class which might appear to be for the coffee lovers out there, this P13 range certainly leans towards those who appreciate a nice rich Arabica roast, but we are going to make two layouts, only one features anything to do with a caffine hit!

I loved playing with these, and am definitely going to be creating more layouts using all the lovely left overs.

Your first page really showcases the bold navy stripes, whilst a bright white border around your photo makes sure it remains the focus of the page.

Your second page celebrates those blissful coffee moments, with an optional inky background and using the delicate white florals, to make sure the photo is always the star of the show!

I hope you enjoy these layouts, and really would love to see your versions, so don't forget to share in the Facebook group.

October Virtual Crop Class with Katherine

Hello,  I hope you are all enjoying the virtual crop.   This class is all about paper layering and folding and shaping it to make embellishments.  We will make 2 pages in this class, the first involving an origami heart and in the second we create the flowers at the corner of the photo above.  Amongst that are some glimmering gems and a scatter of sequins!

I hope you enjoy it.

Instructions can be found here, I hope you enjoy it.

September Virtual Crop Class with Mel

Hello all and welcome to the last class of the September Virtual Crop. I worked with the fantastic "Here & There" collection from Simple Stories and having spent a wonderful time in Florida this summer it was great to get scrapping my holiday with this travel range.

I made two pages with the kit and the instructions can be found HERE.

Don't forget we  love to see what you have made with the classes - even if you have gone in your own direction it is always great to see what you make so please do feel free to share on our Facebook Group ATDML # Create

September Virtual Crop Class with Tracy

Is it September, or is it October? If you were following the facebook group this last week or so, you will have seen that apparently Mel and I lost all sense of time during September!  We are back on track now, so welcome to your next class of the September Virtual Crop (in October)!

A pinch and a punch, first day of the month!  Figured I might as well get that in, since it's rare we can say that on a Virtual Crop day!

Anyway, whilst I pack my bags to head off for a long awaited spa week in York with my Mum, here's your second class of the day.

I just loved the grungy blues and browns in this kit of the wonderful 49 & Market papers. I think it's safe to say we are all very fond of the designs and the robust papers this manufacturer seem to be churning out.

I took inspiration from the colours and inked up some backgrounds, using up the left-over ink from my first background to make the second one!

Download the instructions for this class HERE

I hope you enjoy the class and am really looking forward to seeing your versions. I'll be checking in from the hot tub during the week, so please do share them in the facebook group.

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood

Hello everyone, Dolly here and I couldn;t resist the nod to a great film in the title.

This class works witht he gorgeous Pink Fresh Studio Keeping it Real papers. They are always such fabulous quality and this kit in particular has so many tags and labels and words it makes creating pages so simple.

I have three pages for your from this kit - plus loads left over - and this is one of the pages

How cute are those little houses and shops just begging to be cut apart and used.

You can find all of the instructions for all three pages here and we would love to see what you come up with so please do share your pages in our facebook group.

August 2023 Virtual Crop Class with Debs

Happy Scrappy Sunday to you all and welcome to the second class of the day

I've designed these pages using papers, rub-ons and frames from this beautiful, jam packed Simple Vintage Life in Bloom kit. These papers and rub-ons in this collection lend themselves beautifully to creating layered clusters on our layouts.  I made three layouts using this class kit and there's still plenty to spare to make cards and gift tags.

Instructions for this class layout inspiration can be found here

Cluedo Cybercrop Class 13 - Miss Scarlet, in the Summer House, with the Globe

Good evening Gang!

Miss Scarlet here again, but this time I'm writing to you from Sunny Tenerife, whilst sipping on a margherita by the pool! (sorry, not sorry)

I hope you have been enjoying the crop, I know we all had a lot of fun creating the classes for you.

My class this evening brings you the beautiful and bright tones of a classic Vicki B range.
The Where to Next range is so fun too, with quirky little houses and lots of butterflies.

It's rare for me to put lots of photos on a layout, but I think it worked on this first page, which is perfect to document a day out in the city.

My second page could work with almost any subject, and really celebrates the bright papers with a fun layering style.

Download the instructions for this class HERE

As always please do share your layouts with us, we honestly love seeing them.

And if you post on any social media platforms use the #atdmlcluedocybercrop.

Cluedo Cybercrop Class12 - Professor Plum in the Greenhouse with the Poisonous Plants

Hello you should have come from The Candlestick Challenge and now I'd like to welcome you to Class 12!.  In  this class we create 2 layouts using Prima's Painted Floral papers.  There is inking and rolling and cutting out of some of the foiled butterflies.  The class is perfect for your garden photos.  Here are some peaks at what you will be creating.

As always do join in the chatter in our Facebook group and share your creations as we love to see them.

Cluedo Cybercrop Challenge 5 - The Candlestick

Next up is Challenge 5 - The Candlestick

Whenever I think of Candlesticks I think of the Disney Character Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast who is an animated singing candlestick with a french accent. This is far more pleasant than thinking of it as a weapon in Cluedo! However how to make that link to a creative prompt for a challenge...hmmm....Maybe create a Disney themed layout? That is your first prompt for this challenge.

Alternatively your challenge (and this could be quite a challenge for some) is to use wax on your layout.. you can either add a wax seal embellishment, or melt and stamp in some wax to create your own embellishment - or use wax to create a resist technique combined with mixed media. For this you create a pattern/word on your background using a non-lit candle and then apply ink/paint over the top and the colours will not be visible where the wax was applied.

Whichever of these two challenge primpts you chose to use don't forget to upload your layout to the challenge 5 gallery on Facebook of course ensuring you have followed the few rules set out below.

1. Your layout must have been newly created for this challenge - please do not upload pages you have already made.

2. Your layout must be your own design (or please credit the original designer if you are scraplifting)

3. You can use whatever supplies you like for the layout

4. Layouts must be uploaded by midnight on Sunday 6th August 2023.

5. Please use #atdmlcluedocybercrop and #atdmlchallenge if you share to social media.

6. Have fun creating!!

DT member Katherine (aka Professor Plum) would like you to join her in the Greenhouse next for her class at 4pm.

Cluedo Cybercrop Class 11 - Reverend Green in the Market Square with the Ephemera Stacks

Dearly beloved, a warm welcome this blessed Sunday from Reverend Green - my busiest day of the week don't you know!!

My second cybercrop class uses 49 & Market papers to create a pair of layouts making the most of the fabulous ephemera packs included in the class kit. Lots of layering, lots of texture and some interactive elements too.

You can join in with your own stash and take inspiration from the class pages which can be found HERE or follow along the instructions to create the class exactly as I did.

Upload any pages you make based on this class - I would love to see them. We have a cybercrop classes album on our ATDML # Create Facebook page.

if you are posting on social media please do use the #atdmlcluedocybercrop and please credit our design team for their inspiration.

Cludo cybercrop Class 10 - Mrs White on the beach with the Surfboard.

Good morning Campers!!

I hope you enjoyed the first challenge of the day!

It's time now to chill out and relax...... with a bit of fussy cutting ;0)

This range from Prima has lots of beach accents but you don't have to have dipped your toes in the water recently as there is some lovely floral accents too!  Maybe you have been lucky enough to get away to the beach (local or not so local) or maybe you are living vicariously through Arial in the new Little Mermaid at the cinema.

This range of papers come with a STACK of accents cards that not only cover a range of titles but also are double sided with patterned backs to give you plenty of room to play with! For the third layout I wanted to recreate that boardwalk, flybilled, graffiti look with lots of layers and the selection in the cards came in very handy for this

So let's head to the beach (or the kitchen table) click here and get going!!

Cluedo Cybercrop Challenge 4 - The Rope

Moving on to Challenge 4 - The Rope

For this challenge we would like to see you use string or twine on your layouts (lets be honest rope may be just a little chunky!) Once created upload your layout to the challenge 4 gallery on Facebook of course ensuring you have followed the few rules set out below.

1. Your layout must have been newly created for this challenge - please do not upload pages you have already made.

2. Your layout must be your own design (or please credit the original designer if you are scraplifting)

3. You can use whatever supplies you like for the layout (but they must include string or twine)

4. Layouts must be uploaded by midnight on Sunday 6th August 2023.

5. Please use #atdmlcluedocybercrop and #atdmlchallenge if you share to social media.

6. Have fun creating!!

Mrs White (aka DT Member Tricia) will be with you at 10am on the Beach with her Surfboard.

Cluedo Cybercrop Class 9 Colonel Mustard behind the Beauty Backdrop with the Needle

Wadsworth, am I right in thinking there’s nobody else in this house?

Oh you're here too … hello there - ahem - good to see you although if one has a suspicious disposition one might wonder what you're doing wandering around at this time of the night? It seems you have found me behind the beauty backdrop adding a few finishing touches to my creations with one of my favourite tools - the needle!  The journaling phrases on the Heidi Swapp stickers were perfect to record daily Face time catch-ups with my daughter who lives away from home and the gorgeous floral papers from Webster's pages were perfect for adding a girly touch to the page.

Instructions to create this layout and others can be found here.

We'd love to examine the evidence of your efforts and so please share what you have done on the #ATDML Create Facebook page.  If you are sharing images inspired by any of the ATDML Cluedo cyber crop classes on social media,  please use the #atdmlcluedocypbercrop link.

Class 8 - Dr Black in the Apiary with the Killer Bees

Good evening sleuths, I hope you are enjoying the cybercrop so far. My second class uses the beautiful Tell The Bees collection which I enjoyed working with as it is a bit different to a lot of the collections currently available.

You can find the instructions for both my layouts HERE

Layout 1 features hexagons (well it is a Bee collection) and the template is also available in the folder with the instructions. If you print the template at A4 size you can cut out the hexagon to use as a template. However the exact size isn't crucial for this page so if you have a hexagon template or something hexagonal to draw around you could easily do that or even substitute the hexagons for squares or rectangles.

Come back at 10pm for the last class of the evening with Colonel Mustard and in the meantime don't forget to share your layouts in the challenge and class albums over on the Facebook Group ATDML # Create and across all social media with the hashtag #ATDMLCluedoCybercrop

Cluedo Cybercrop Challenge 3 - The Spanner

Welcome back to the next Challenge - The Spanner!

I promise not to throw one in the works 😉

For this challenge we want to see you create a layout featuring hexagons (the spanner when not used as a weapon in Cluedo adjusts nuts and bolts which are usually hexagonal in shape).  Once created upload your layout to the challenge 3 gallery on Facebook and make sure you have followed the few rules set out below.

1. Your layout must have been newly created for this challenge - please do not upload previous pages created.

2. Your layout must be your own design (or please credit the original designer if you are scraplifting)

3. You can use whatever supplies you like for the layout.

4. Layouts must be uploaded by midnight on Sunday 6th August 2023.

5. Please use #atdmlcluedocybercrop and #atdmlchallenge if you share to social media.

6. Have fun creating!!

Next up at 8pm Dr Black (aka our Mel) is bringing you a killer class!

Cluedo Cybercrop Class 7 - Mrs White in the Dreamy loft with the Die cutter

Afternoon everyone!

I hope you have all been having a great weekend with lots of inspiring classes and challenges.

I'm up in the loft with Heidi Swapp's Dreamy range, and there is plenty to play with.... This kit comes with a mini stack of papers which will let you personalise my layouts to your own photos.  What's more it comes with this fab die-cut to give you maximum impact for your title.

For the second layout I wanted to carry through that die-cut feel by cutting apertures into the page giving you some spaces to play with across your page, backfilling and add embellishments to fit your theme.

This is very much a sketch class that gives you room to flip the colour and style to what works for your photos so grab your glue, click here and lets go!!

Cluedo Cybercrop Class 6 - Professor Plum in the Studio with the Craft Knife

Hello, I hope you are all enjoying our cyber crop.  You should have just completed Mrs Peacock's class and now we move into the Studio and dig out the craft knives!

In this class we make 2 pages with the beautiful Hazy Days papers from 7 dots along with some lovely rub-ons and ephemera.  Below is our 2nd page which involves more mess, the first is nice and clean, letting the papers do all the work.

Be careful with those craft knives!

Remember to join in the chatter in our Facebook group and share your creations as we love to see them.
Be back at 4pm for Mrs White in the Dreamy Loft with the Die Cutter!
