Class 3 with Debs

Afternoon All,
Hope you've had a wonderfully, scrappy Sunday so far.
The fabulous Pink Paislee 'Whimsical'  paper range lends itself to creating simple but striking layouts which is what we will be doing in this class. Nothing too demanding or challenging for a gentle afternoon of scrapping.
Full instructions for this class can be found here.  Please pop into the ATDML#create facebook group page to show us what you've done, we'd love to see your pages.
Hope you have a blissful evening.

September Virtual Crop by Katherine

Hello everyone, here is my class using the beautiful BoBunny Kiss the Cook range - it has a really nice farm feel to it as well as lots of cooking references too.

I have made 4 layouts some are easier than others, but all use the beautiful colours in this paper pack and also the lovely foiled vellum that you can see on my first page.  I had great fun making them so I hope you enjoy them too!  Even though the papers have a cooking theme, your photos don't need to be around food, I've used a mixture and there is a gorgeous pack of thickers in this kit so if the title doesn't quite work for your photos change it up.

I hope you enjoy it, come back at 2pm for Debbies class.

September Virtual Crop by Ann

Summery fun pages are the theme for this class this month using Websters Pages Our Travels papers.

The instructions for the layout above plus a second page can be downloaded HERE.

Enjoy on what promises to be another sunny Sunday and join us again at noon for Katherines class x

VC Weekend Album Covers Challenge 7th Edition

Welcome back to the Album Covers Challenge, it's been a while but this month I chose to look at an iconic album from an artist who has been in the news locally as he finished his world tour with three gigs in Ipswich just up the road from me. Ed Sheeran's X (multiply) album was released in 2014 and remains one of the top 10 streamed albums of all time.

The simple bold design lends itself well to translating to a layout and I chose to take the X motif for my layout rather than the colour palette. Of course the layout needs a photo and embellishment so is not quite a clean graphic copy of the album but the X is the dominant design feature in this page.

I would love to see what you come up with using this very simple starting point for a layout. Don't forget to head over to the ATDML # Create facebook page for Virtual Crop day chat throughout the day and upload your take on this challenge to the album cover challenge to the gallery.

Come back at 10am for Ann's Class.

September Sketch Challenge

Hello ladies - Dolly here again with a new sketch challenge for you for September.

I am not sure what September means for you. Maybe it means you have more time now schools have restarted ... maybe less. For me it used to mean far less time as when the children went back to school, so did I. But actually, when I had less time I often became more productive as I procrastinated less and just got on with things.
Whatever September means for you I hope this sketch inspires you to get scrapping.

Here is my page that was created from the sketch

As always, please share your pages in our facebook group album here
