Whichever you choose we hope you'll share them with us on our Facebook group in the challenge 3 album. That's it for tonight so rest up until we start again tomorrow at 10am with Challenge 4 and the Class 1 at 1pm

Around the World in 80 Hours - Challenge 2 - TICKETS PLEASE

TICKETS PLEASE

Well we cannot go anywhere around the world without our tickets so here's your challenge #2 - feature tickets on your layout - nice and easy!

You can use real tickets from an event you've attended, or a cinema trip or maybe ticket ephemera or diecuts or even a stamped ticket - the choice is yours.

Your layouts must be newly created for this challenge and not previously shared - we look forward to seeing what you come up with. A couple of the DT have shared some examples with you below to inspire.

Around the World in 80 Hours - Challenge 1 - PASSPORTS

YOUR PASSPORT

Well we can't travel in person but lets make a passport so we can travel with ATDML this weekend.  Your first challenge is to make a minibook to record the classes and challenges of this weekend.

Jane has made a beautiful example for you which features our event icon as well and there is a downloadable PDF so you can print this off yourself or get creative and make your own version

I hope you rise to this challenge and make yourself a little keepsake of the weekend with us.

April Sketch Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Easter to everyone.  Here is this months sketch challenge and sample page.

I have been enjoying a little bit of Vicki Boutin and her Friday Night Live sessions and been playing around with distress inks.  I started off with the background, then definitely went through a phase of "how am I going to use this?", which was mainly because I just chose colours I liked.  Fortunately I had a box of Pink Fresh's Keeping it Real and when I looked at the B-sides of the papers there were some perfect colour matches!
The main structure of the page is 3 strips - mine are 2 3/4" by 6" and then the 6 by 4" photo.  I added in some extra layer with vellum and cut out some of the tags from the Keeping it Real papers.  I layered up the co-ordinating stickers, hunted for multi-coloured sequins...which did explode across my room but in the end I was pleased with the page as the colours match the happiness I feel when we get a lovely covering of snow!

I hope you enjoy the sketch.  Do share your pages over in our Facebook Group.
