Seaside pictures with BoBunny

For todays post I was influenced by a page by Marilyn Rivera - it is beautiful and uses Prima papers - take a look here, she also does a great video tutorial.  I really liked the way she had used wave like strips of paper, so I cut the Paradise BoBunny paper following the wave lines, then distressed the edges and mounted them on cardstock.  I then added a little bit of stencilling.  I embellished my photo with a wood veneer heart that I made into a shaker with some acetate, and also a Fab Scraps chipboard piece - I embossed it roughly with silver embossing powder, then inked over the top with a teal coloured ink to give a two tone effect.

I added some chipboard shells from the BoBunny range around my shaker, and also a little bit of gauze dyed with blue paint.

I used a mix of seaside wood veneers and also some BoBunny confetti paste in silver to add a bit of sparkle to my gauze fishing net.

Getting On Top of Project Life

Hello, hello Karen here with this month's project life inspired page.

Now, it may come as a surprise but I do like my layouts to be lumpy and bumpy and in this respect I find project life a little restrictive.

I decided that for this page I would use vellum and utalise some of the empty portions of the project life page protector and then to finish my page by adding stickers and die cuts (die cuts from my own stash) to the outside of the pockets, thus giving me the opportunity to get some depth to my page.

I will have to take care not to damage the embellishments when they are in my scrapbook but I really like this solution.

September Virtual Crop Class 3 with Debs

Afternoon All

Hope you have enjoyed the scrapping inspiration so far and are scrapping up a storm in the comfort of your homes.  This class uses  patterned papers from the very pretty Kaisercraft 'Cottage Rose' collection to  create a gently coordinated layout.

Instructions can be found on the A Trip Down Memory lane website HERE and while you are there why not pop into the shop for a little Saturday afternoon retail therapy!

Don't forget the September Inspired By challenge posted by Ann which can be found here.

Looking forward to catching up with you on the ATDML FB page where you can share your layouts and join in with the Virtual Crop Chat.

Have a wonder-full weekend lovely people.

September Virtual Crop Class 2 with Tricia Edie

Vintage dreams

By Tricia Edie

This summer I was lucky enough to travel to San Francisco - a bucket list location for me but I was also able to check a few other items off the list including a ride in a hot air balloon.  A dream destination for me since I was young - even the simple prospects of riding the cable cars and dropping pennies down by Pier 39.

As there is a lot of vintage character to the city this kit was perfect for San Francisco and all it offered.  The pattern and feel of these paper make me want to just scrunch and rough them up even more.  Both Layouts feature distressed layouts including the scrummy vintage roses that are super easy to make.

Come back and join Debbie at 2pm where she will be sharing the last class of the day with you.

September's Scraplift Challenge -

Hello, hello lovlies.

This month I have scraplifted one of the class layouts from the recent Cybercrop.  The classes are still available here .

So for September's scraplift challenge I have chosen this layout by Ann to scraplift.

I was inspired by the grid pattern, 4in square photo (one of my favourite sizes) and the doodling.

I liked this layout so much that I decided to make it into a double one by creating a companion page.

As always, I am really excited to see what you come up with this month.

Happy Scraplifting x
