March Virtual Crop Class with Ann & 49&M Rust and Revs

Happy Sunday from me and I hope this class finds you well wherever you are today.

More 49&Market goodness from me today in this months virtual crop class kit.  There is a more masculine feel to this Rust & Revs collection but I have still used for a couple of silly selfies!  You might want to grab yourself some plain old boring silver paperclips for this class too as I feature 9 of  them on one of my pages (little glimpse of that below!!)

As always instructions can be found on our Google Drive folder HERE and we encourage you to upload your classes to our Facebook page Created by ATDML as well. My class is saved as 0325-Ann.pdf in the folder.

Enjoy!

February Virtual Crop with Ann & Photoplay

Last but by no means least is your 3rd Virtual crop class today using Photoplay Wildflower Dreams. Patterned papers and a fun 12x12 sticker sheet form this kit which is super versatile to use for a many themes.

An option to bring a little stencilling in here with these lovely spring colours.

I hope you enjoy!

As always the instructions can be downloaded HERE.

February Virtual crop with Tricia

Good afternoon everyone

It's been so lovely to play with this months range of papers.  I've been sucked into the world of Vicki Boutin and her 'Print shop', full of creative and nature themed elements and some gorgeous chipboard elements.

The 'cross my heart' paper has some cracking asymmetric stripes on one side and this inspired me to revisit a walk in the woods we had taken a while back.

I loved adding in the leaves, birds, butterflies and snails to continue the theme and the page included hidden journalling to tell the tale.

There are some crafty elements to the elements too giving the perfect opportunity to scrap those retreat, crop or solo scraping sessions.  I created some raised banners for a bit of pop

The last layout could be used to display multiple photos of a range of subjects... particularly all that you love.  It could be a person, a day, an event, your favourite keepsakes or that day you conquered that mountain at last.

So click here and head to the album to get started.

January 2025 Virtual Crop with Mel

Hello and welcome to the last class of the January 2025 Virtual Crop. This class gave me a nice chance to look back at some of our favourite memories from Christmas and get some of them scrapped. For some reason I am terrible about getting my festive photos scrapped... I think it is because by the time I get around to printing them I am not feeling at all Christmassy so this class gave me a bit of a push to get them done.

I've made three layouts with this kit although when I came to add the blog post I realised that one of them is a similar concept to one of Debs' from last month but who doesn't love a circle bauble layout?!

Your instructions can be found HERE in the 2025 Virtual Crop Google Drive Folder

Don't forget to share your layouts over on the ATDML # Create Facebook Page!

September Virtua Crop Class 1 with Mel

Hello and welcome to the first class of our September Virtual Crop. I had a kit with embellishments from Bo Bunnys Beautiful Things range combined with papers from mixed manufacturers. I made two quite different layouts, one with a pastel colour palette contrasting with black elements and the other with a more masculine palette of greys with some green and orangey reds.

Find the instructions HERE - I hope you enjoy the layouts, don't forget to share your creations with us on the facebook page.

Class 14 Rachel & Bloomingdales with Tricia

Its time to shop my Friends!!!

We are off to Bloomingdates with the gorgeous Blessed collection from Kaisercraft!  The gorgeous prints in this kit are the perfect inspiration for this fashion mecca themed class.

I wanted to take inspiration not only from the incredible clothes inside the building but also the iconic exterior. For the first layout I wanted to represent the black and white front of the building by recreating all the windows, showcasing the fabrics and models inside. I also wanted to give a big nod to the art deco-esque sign in the title/journalling.

... but it's whats inside that counts so layout 2 was a tribute to the fabrics and fashion that Bloomingdales has sold since the late 1800's. Not only will we be replicating bales of billowing fabric but we will also be screen printing too. So lets grab a cab and head over here and don't forget to share your #layoutoftheday over on the facebook group!

That's a wrap for our classes this weekend and we very much look forward to seeing you share them on our Facebook Group. The design team and ATDML community love seeing what others have created and it is good to share!  One more challenge to go to close our event out which goes up here at 10pm.

Class 13 We were on a break - with Tracy Annunziato

I'm back, this time with what is possibly one of the most famous lines, and certainly the longest running joke, of the whole series!  We were on a break!  More about the origin and story in my instructions, but putting it into a layout... I broke a background in half!

This fun bright summery Simple Stories collection, Just Beachy, is screaming to be used documenting breaks away from real life!  So I've documented a few trips to Tenerife, where real life just doesn't get me!

I also broke a habit, you'll find no inky backgrounds here today, I've inked the edges of one layout, but that's actually not usually a habit of mine!

I hope you enjoy the class, you'll find your instructions here. Join us back here at 8pm for Class 14, the last of the weekend with Tricia and then we close the day with one final challenge.

Class 12 The one about Chandler Bing with Ann

Last class from me for this weekend and it is inspired by my favourite character from the show, the kind and funny Chandler Bing played by the late actor Matthew Perry. Chandler is always joking and funny in the seasons of the series and responsible for many of the one liners - often said to be his own add libbing to the script. On set he was also known for keeping up the spirit of his co-stars and just as funny when the camera wasn't rolling.

Inspired by this I have created pages based on fun times with friends for this class using Photoplay Let's Scrap collection. Instructions for my three layouts can be found here and you are encouraged to join in with your own supplies if you didn't grab a kit.

Join us again at 6pm for the next class, the penultimate one of the series.

Class 11 Ross' Backpacking Story with Mel

Hello and welcome to my last class of the weekend.  This one is named after Ross' Backpacking story because the products are travel and hiking themed - if you don't have any travel photos there are a variety of titles so you can always substitute the ones used to work with other photos.

In the instructions I explained how I made my collage photo block - you can however switch this out for one or two larger photos if you prefer.

We will make two layouts in this class - find the instructions HERE.

Don't forget to share your layouts on the ATDML # Create Facebook page. The designers love to see what you have made either with your kits or with your own stash, even if you have gone off on a different tangent we still love to see your take on a class.

Class 10 Smelly Cat with Karen

Hi again everyone and welcome to the final day of our Friends cyberrop.

I am guessing you all kind of knew I'd be here with Smelly Cat - it has me written all over it really.

My boys certainly aren't smelly, but they are scrapbook worthy. BUT you do NOT have to make this class about cats, or even about pets or animals of any kind. It's a beautiful versatile kit that I hope you will enjoy using.

I have instructions for three pages and this is just one of them.

You can find the instructions HERE and I hope you enjoy playing with this gorgeous kit.

Mel is up next at Noon with her 3rd class of the weekend followed by another challenge at 2pm.

Class 9 - The one about Phoebe's Triplets - with Tracy Annunziato

Time for the late night class with me!  I hope you're having a good evening if you are still scrapping along with the time table, and if not, then I hope you are having a good morning/lunch/afternoon/evening depending what time you are reading this!

It's the one with Phoebe's triplets, which was the 100th episode! More about that in the instructions!

Playing with Pink Fresh, The Simple Things, I tried to keep the theme of 3 in mind.  One layout features three clusters,

and another a 3 word title...

and then to keep in line with the power of 3, I made a third layout! After which I remembered there are two sheets of cardstock in the kit, not 3.  So grab one from your stash to do all 3 layouts.

I hope you enjoy the class, you'll find your instructions here.

Class 8 The one about academic Ross with Ann

Another class from me and this time all about the academic of the group of friends Ross.  With Academia from 49&Market in the kit for this class it was easy to make the connection to the show for me (and again you don't have to have seen the show or have the kit to join in)

I have created several pages for this class, 2 academia themed and 2 visiting outdoor places which I hope inspire you to play along, either with the kit, your own 49&M Academia papers or something else. Instructions can be found HERE.

Next up is Tracy at 10pm with her class inspired by Phoebe's triplets.

Class 7 The One about Central park with Tricia

Good afternoon friends!

We are off for a picnic in Central park with Simple stories and their yummy 'Simple vintage spring garden' collection.

For the first layout I wanted to take inspiration from the incredible overhead pictures that I have seen of Central Park with the beautiful green floral oasis in the centre of a grey urban-scape.  I also wanted to represent all the various little sections of the park from literary walk to the Swiss house.

These papers are great for photos of days out or days in the garden so grab those photos and click here and join me for a day out in Central park (the ice cream is really good :0)

Back here in 2 hours is another challenge for you and your next class from Ann will land at 8pm.

Class 6 The One About Phoebe with Mel

Good afternoon, I hope you are enjoying the Friends Cybercrop. I am up next with my second class of the weekend. This one is all about Phoebe! When I knew I was working with Memory Place Stitched Together it really reminded me of Phoebes eclectic dress sense.

We will make two layouts in this class - find the instructions HERE.

Don't forget to share your layouts on the ATDML # Create Facebook page.

Class 5 - Joey wears all the clothes! - with Tracy Annunziato

I hope you have been enjoying the Cyber Crop so far... what a fabulous theme!  I am a fan of the show; although not obsessed, I have watched most episodes many times... it's one of those shows I can have on in the background whilst working, and it keeps the room feeling full!

In the episode called "The One Where No One's Ready" Ross is losing his mind because he has an important function at the Museum, and everyone is taking ages to get ready, or not getting ready at all!

Chandler and Joey are having a little tiff, started because Chandler tricks Joey into drinking chicken fat, then Joey takes Chandler's seat when he goes to the toilet.  Chandler then hides all of Joey's underwear, meaning he will have to wear a rented tux commando style.  Joey then wears all Chandlers clothes, except underwear, gets hot and does lunges!  Uttering the brilliant line "You hide my underwear, I'm wearing everything you own!"

I took inspiration from all the layers Joey was wearing, and went for full layers in this class.

The Free Spirit papers, from P13, feature a musical industrial theme, and whilst I embraced documenting when I saw Green Day with an old friend, I also feel like I mixed it up and made layouts that aren't related to music at all.  This range is great for doing some masculine layouts, or just taking in the scenery.

I hope you enjoy the class, you'll find your instructions here.

Class 4 - PIVOT!!!! with Tricia

Good morning all

It's so lovely to be back for a mega cybercrop,  I hope you are all enjoying the weekend so far.

I'll be using Pinkfresh's collection 'making the best of it' to create a class inspired by the iconic 'Pivot' episode. Just like when Ross, Rachel and Chandler are moving the sofa about, we'll be rotating the elements across the page, playing with positioning and when all else fails cut it in half :0)

So roll up your sleeves and head over here to start class 4!! Dont forget to head over to the facebook group to share your layouts and also for loads more inspiration!

Class 3 Joey & Days of our Lives

Hello everyone and hopefully you have been having fun on the first day of this Friend's weekend.

I have a class based on Joey's wonderful soap opera 'Day's of Our Lives' ... or, as Joey called it, DOOL!

I hope you enjoy playing with what look, at first glance, vintage heritage type papers and that the class demonstrates how you can have modern fun too.

The class has two pages and you will have goodies left over too.

This is one of the pages

You can find the class 3 instructions here

I hope you have fun enjoying the days of YOUR life. Come back at 11pm for another challenge and then join us again tomorrow for more fun.

Class 2 The one about chef Monica with Ann

A warm hello from me for my first of three classes this weekend. The Simple Stories Domestic Bliss papers in the kit chosen for this class immediately made me think of the Friends character Monica and her job as a chef. And then I looked at the papers and they were more about keeping home than cooking but luckily Monica was also a home body, always cleaning and tidying so the collection still worked just as well!!

Instructions for Class 2 can be found HERE where I made 3 layouts including the one above and if you didn't grab a kit for this please do feel free to join in with your own papers and scraplift one or more of the class pages.

We do ask that if you do scraplift you credit the designer when sharing to social media.

Next up is Days of our lives with Karen at 10pm and then we close the day with a second challenge at 11pm.

Class 1 Friends Cybercrop with Mel

Welcome everyone to the first class of this years Cybercrop! When Ann and Debie came up with the theme idea I knew there would be plenty of scope and hopefully you will all enjoy the class our lovely DT have spent their time preparing for you.

So class 1 with called "The One in Barbados" I'm going to hold my hands up and say that I chose this theme for the fabulous tropical papers I was using rather than the episode which sees the gang expecting a glorious sunny holiday and ending up with a rainy season visit to a palaeontology conference!

We will make three layouts in this class, there is some mixed media involved in two of them but it is optional, you can substitute for a clean and simple white background if you prefer but I have outlined the techniques used, as always adapt to suit what you have to hand and what suits your taste.

Please do share your creations over the weekend if possible on the ATDML # Create Facebook group. Our fabulous and dedicated DT spend a lot of time creating classes and inspiration and always love to see what people have made - even if you have gone in a totally different direction with the kit we still love to see and you might inspire someone else with your ideas!

Here is the first layout and you can access the class folder with the instructions HERE

Come back at 8pm for Ann's first class of the cybercrop!

June 2024 Virtual Crop class with Karen

Hi everyone - and how is it possible that we are half way through 2024 already!

I have another class for you today, this time using the gorgeous Bon Voyage by Memory Place. There are gorgeous papers and embellishments in this one and even though I have three pages for you, there is loads left for other projects.

This s one of the class pages

I hope you are as in love with these sunny papers as I was and that you enjoy the class.

If you can, I would love you to share your creations in our facebook group and let me know what you think.

Have fun creating.
