January Virtual Crop with Mel using 49 & Market Nature Study

Welcome to the final class of the day. I got to work with 49 & Market Nature Study which was such a treat. I ADORE 49 & Market products anyway but this particular collection really works well for such a wide range of photos. In the end I used photos from our 2022 trip to Canada and of course the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies works great with this range however I love that it is one of those collections that works just as well for photos take in my local park or on a walk through the UK countryside!

I made two layouts for this class, the first is here:

To get the full instructions and see the other layout take a trip over to our 2024 Google Drive folder and look for the file labelled 0124-Mel (as a reminder the format is month year teacher: mmyy-teacher

Don't forget to share your versions over on ATDML # Create, our teachers work really hard creating lovely pages for you and they really do enjoy seeing what has been made whether you followed the instructions to the letter or went off on a completely different direction with it.

January 2024 Virtual Crop with Ann and Photoplay

Happy 2024 to all our ATDML friends and welcome to your noon virtual crop class from me this chilly January.

At the start of each year I set myself a reading challenge for the year and try to record the books that I read on an app called Goodreads. I don't read all the time and can go a couple of months with no books but then may have a run of several weeks! Anyhow, imagine my delight to receive the wonderful Book Club papers from Photoplay for this month's virtual crop kit.

I have made two pages, both with a simple interactive element and I hope you enjoy them!

You can download your instructions here on the file saved as 0124-Ann, and if you are scrapping along with us this virtual crop day then you've only a couple of hours before your next class is posted with Mel. Enjoy!

January 2024 Virtual crop with Tricia and Simple Stories

Good Morning Campers!!

...And welcome to the first Virtual Crop of 2024!!  Its so lovely to be back and kicking of the new year with some pages from the Vintage Garden range from Simple Stories.  These gorgeous vintage floral papers will make you forget the dreary weather we have been having recently and take you back to nicer days.

For the first layout I wanted to create a 3 layered visual effect using a diecut cardstock as the basis.  Instead of putting plain or simple patterned paper behind, I used the butterfly paper to create fluttering effect where you couldn't see all of the butterflies.  This then sat alongside the diecut butterflies to provide the basis for a top layer sweep of butterflies.

These layouts can be created 'as is' for a basis for those halcyon days but are an ideal opertunity to dig around your stash and add in little embellishments you may have hanging around or tuck in ephemera from that lovely day out.

As always don't forget to share your versions as I love seeing your take on the class.  So without any further ado click here for the 2024 Instructions folder and let's get going!!
