Class 7 - ANGEL with Debbie

Hello Saturday Scrappers! Excited to share this next class by the lovely Debbie who with four girls could only have picked ANGEL as her station :)

Did you know that Angel is one of 5 stations on the London Underground named after a public house  - the once-famous Angel inn which dates back to at least 1638. (The others are Elephant & Castle, Manor House, Royal Oak and Swiss Cottage for the quiz buffs amoung you! )

Anyway Debs class has nothing to do with pubs and everything to do with her Angels! The kit featured soft and feminine papers by Websters Pages but the style of the pages could be adapted to suit other papers you have in your collection.

Next up we have a fun challenge for you at midday with a little song to have you humming along! Now where did I put my circle punch??

Class 6 OXFORD STREET - with Denise

Goodly Saturday morning to you. I hope you are enjoying our Cybercrop.

Oxford Street is the venue this morning. That hustling bustling always busy street - the place where we very often go for special outfits for special occasions..

This is a double layout class with lots of layering of papers, tailor's dummies and scissors to reflect the clothing element and is using some photos of us at a special wedding we went to needing of course, new outfits.

Here is the layout.

A couple of close ups

There is also  a nice little bonus Easel card using some of the rest of the kit for you to make

Have fun and hope you enjoy the class. We would love you to post your layouts and projects to our Facebook group ATDML # Create or add your link at the bottom of this post

Next stop  at 11 am is Debs and she is
at Angel

Class 5 - SOUTHWARK with Mel

Good morning and welcome to my second class of the weekend; Southwark.

The reason I chose to name this one Southwark is because a little googling told me that the nearest underground station to the Tate Modern art gallery is Southwark.

As you can see below a design feature of this layout is the use of the different frames giving a gallery look to the layout. The colours in the kit are vibrant and modern in design hence why I chose Tate Modern as my gallery and Southwark as my station.

Any questions pop over to our facebook page where there will be lots of people on hand to answer your questions and to chat. I look forward to seeing your versions later on!

Come back at 9:30am for Denise's "Oxford Street" class.

Challenge #2 - A PICTURE QUIZ

Happy Saturday and welcome back to day two of our Cybercrop. Starting off nice and early with a fun picture challenge for you.

See if you can work out which London Underground Stations have been illustrated by the images. Grab a coffee/cuppa, your pen and go have some lighthearted fun.

Answers will be shared tomorrow evening at 7pm.

Next class (#5) follows at 8am with the lovely Mel who takes you to SOUTHWARK.

Challenge #1 - WESTMINSTER

Time for challenge # 1 - at the stroke of midnight it seems only fitting that WESTMINSTER, home of Iconic London clock Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament be our destination. Many of you will know that Big Ben is actually the name of the bell within the tower rather than the clock itself but our challenge is going to focus on time not the bell (given it is midnight!)

We are setting you the challenge to use a clock on a layout, card or paper craft project for our first challenge.  Upload a link to your image in the comments field below, or share in our Facebook Cybercrop Challenges Album which can be found HERE. Select "add photo" and share your image along with the challenge number and your name. You will need to be logged on to a PC or laptop to do this as the functionality doesn't appear to be there for tablets or smartphones sadly.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge. To illustrate the challenge here is a layout by Karen featuring a clock embellishment cluster.

I also created this page for the Marion Smith design team gallery last month featuring a clock for an Alice in Wonderland themed page.

Deadline for this challenge to be shared with us and maybe in with a chance to win a prize is next Sunday July 27th. Have fun! and see you back here in the morning. Challenge 2 goes up at 7am for the early birds among you! Night all xx

Class 4 - HANGER LANE - with Karen

Well this is a class for those of you who are up for some late night scrapping!

I wanted to use as many of the beautiful Studio Calico papers as possible so decided to make a patchwork effect for the bottom part of my layout.

The bonus class has ideas for 4 cards, also on a patchwork theme.

You can download the PDF instructions HERE and these include the template for making the dresses and instructions on how to make the paperclip coat hangers.

Our Facebook Cybercrop challenge photo album can be found here where you can add your images, or post on Twitter tagging @atdml or link your shared image in the comments to this post

The first of our challenges is at Midnight and is called Westminster - can you guess what the challenge will be?

Class 3 - OVAL with Jane

Welcome to my first class, and to Oval station on the Northern line, alight at this station to go to 'The Oval'.
The Oval is an international Cricket Ground and the home of the Surrey County Cricket  Club.  This class is called Oval because the basis for this project is a cardstock constructed Cricket Scoreboard – the kind with opening doors and topped with a clock. Apart from that the papers are very definitely sport based with a mixture of tennis, cricket, rugby as well as American sports.  This project could be used to showcase a sporty picture or as an elaborate way to present a gift of sports tickets to someone special.

I have used Graphic 45's Good Ol' Sport papers but if you are using your own stash you could use any co-ordinating papers and cut out any pictures to collage such as flowers etc.

Here is my finished project...

There are instructions for this class in both written and video form...

(Apologies for the music, I had some lovely sports themes on there but the copyright people made me take them off!)

I hope you enjoy the class.  Don't forget to leave a link to your pages in the comments below - or share your images in our Facebook gallery on ATDML#Create

Our next Station will be Hangar Lane with Karen at 10.30pm.
