Class 2 - HEATHROW with Mel

Welcome to the first of my three classes during this Cyber Crop.

For this class the layout I have made is travel themed and the products in the kit come from the Simple Stories Urban Traveller range so it made sense to choose a station which is famous for the airport it serves.

This is a double layout and there is some flexibility in terms of the number of photos etc... Of course if you are using your own stash then you can easily change the theme to any that works for your subject.

Click here to download the PDF instructions for this class.

Any questions pop over to our facebook page where there will be lots of people on hand to answer your questions and to chat.

Come back at 9pm for Jane's "Oval" class.

Class 1 - TRAFALGAR SQUARE with Ann

Yay! It is time to kick start our London Underground Cybercrop with our first class inspired by TRAFALGAR SQUARE and I have two layouts to share in this class.

Layout 1 - A layout which features an array of different sizes squares and rectangles inspired by the Square of Trafalgar (which I am led to believe isn't exactly square!)

Layout 2 - A column based page inspired by Nelson's Column from Trafalgar Square with strips(columns!) of scrolled-edged pattern papers behind a mounted 4x6 photo.

I hope you enjoy the class.  Don't forget to leave a link to your pages in the comments below - or share your images in our Facebook gallery for Cybercrop classes which can be found HERE.

Our next class HEATHROW is at 7.30pm with Mel.

Welcome to our London Underground Cybercrop!

The time has come around after much anticipation (well certainly on our part and we hope yours) for our third cybercrop! Welcome to you all and we hope you will have fun and join in over the next three days with our classes and challenges. The theme is the London Underground as you know and we hope to take you on a journey around the stations with a variety of themed classes from our design team and some fun challenges thrown in too.

The timetable for the weekend was shared previously on this thread and as each class or challenge roll around we will post a new thread here on the blog with a link to our main website where you can download PDF instructions to the classes.  We aim to update our Facebook page Atdml #Create  and Twitter (follow @ATDML) over the weekend too with links to the classes and we look forward to chatting with you there throughout the weekend.

Of course we would love to see you share your class layouts/projects and challenges with us and you can do this either via our Facebook page or leave a comment on the respective blog posts with a link to your designs. On our Facebook page select the photos link (just beneath the banner) and then select either the Classes or Challenges album. Do not select upload photos.

Once you have selected the correct album, you can then choose "add photo" to share your image. Add the class number and your name so we know who you are and what you are sharing!  If you are posting images to twitter be sure to tag @ATDML too!

We must point out though that the most important thing when taking part is to have fun and get creative. Be inspired by the classes, try new techniques, use up your scrapbooking stash or enjoy creating with one of our cybcercrop kits. The PDF instructions will remain on the website so if you do not get a chance to join in over the weekend worry not, you can still get inspiration and free classes when you are ready and the challenges deadline is not until Sunday 27th July!

So, first class is up at 6pm with me (Ann) as we head to our first station together TRAFALGAR SQUARE. See you then but if you are eager to start now and haven't done our pre-crop sketch challenge yet why not have a go! You'll find that HERE.

Last preparation file - Debbie's Angel Class

Many apologies for the slight delay in getting the last preparation document to you for Debbie's class but we hope it'll have been worth your wait.

Find out what you need for Debbie's 2 layouts she is teaching on Saturday HERE.

For all of the classes that will be released over the weekend you will be able to join in EVEN if you do not have similar papers. Look at the paper placement, the photo sizes, layout of the page and any techniques used and just have a go. I often find it useful to look at a layout and then draw a sketch from it and then scrap your layout from there. The main thing is to have fun and remember the design team will be around over the weekend to answer any questions you may have. We are so excited to share this weekend with you and look forward to seeing you back here on Friday night for our first class.

In the meantime - here is the TIMETABLE link and why not play along with the first pre-cybercrop challenge the SKETCH CHALLENGE to warm yourself up? Our challenge gallery already has some fine examples.
