We thought you might like a little sketch challenge to warm you up for the cybercrop weekend and with the underground theme what would you expect from a sketch other than one based on the famous logo?
If you fancy playing along just grab whatever supplies you have to hand and interpret the sketch however you like. I have shared a layout based on the sketch (using October Afternoon papers) but you could do a card or a minibook cover or even a tweak it for a 4x6 page to include on a project life page.
Here is my illustrated layout based on the sketch featuring my favourite Mr Cardle. I'm a little in love with my Distress Stains right now, maybe almost as much as Mr C. I've used them in ink the edges and make the ink splats on this page.
We have a challenge folder over on our Facebook page if you fancy sharing your challenge with us or leave a comment below with a link to your page. Have fun!

You do not need to have a class kits to join in - each of our designers are preparing a list of supplies you can gather ahead of time in a plastic baggie with a photo so you can join in and use up your existing supplies - these will continue to be shared over the next week.
So to find out what the weekend we have planned for you holds download the timetable for the weekend!
If anyone has any questions leave us a comment below and one of the team will be sure to assist.
Preparing for Karen's Cybercrop Classes & Sneak Peaks!
The lovely Karen will be teaching classes for High Barnet, Kew and Hanger Lane and having seen them all in the flesh I can tell you that you're in for a treat! They are all stunning, but why am I telling you that when I can tease you with a few sneak peaks?
Sneak of KEW
Sneak of HIGH BARNET
Sneak of HANGER LANE
To get yourself prepared for Karen's cybercrop classes download and print off her preparation guide HERE. On the Hanger Lane class the kit list only says six papers are needed however Karen has added that the decorative banner can be made from those but if you wish to make a page similar to the one in the class then twelve papers will be needed.
As always if anyone has any questions ahead of the cybercrop weekend, no matter how daft you may think they are, please let us know as we are eager for you all to get the most from the weekend and have a fabulously creative time.
Preparing for Katherine's Cybercrop class & a sneak peak!
Katherine is teaching the Waterloo class over the cybercrop weekend. Details of how to prepare for her class can be found below along with a cheeky sneak peak!
I can tell you there is a little water involved in this class and I for one am intrigued! More news to follow on the other classes, the timetable and a sketch challenge in the coming days :)

Preparing for the Cybercrop
Well we will be in full swing in two weeks time in the midst of our third cybercrop and we are so excited to share with you the classes and challenges we have prepared. If you are like me you'll want to be getting yourself organised for the weekend to make the most of the time. Each of the designers will be sharing with you over the next week the materials/tools and photo requirements needed for their classes. I have stared below with my three classes Piccadilly, Hyde Park Corner and Trafalgar Square.
Preparing for Ann's classes
Once you have clicked on the link above you can then select File>Download or File>Print to keep your own record of what you need to prepare for my classes. The other designers will share their requirements in a similar fashion over the coming days.
The timetable will also be shared in the next day or so also so you can see what classes will be when and plan accordingly. We will also have a little warm up sketch challenge for you soon so stay tuned for a fun packed July from the ATDML team!

All in a sketch
Sometimes I have an idea...and then sometimes you see a sketch and just have to have a go - which was what happened with this page. Over on the Scrap365 blog they have a sketch challenge every month and the minimalist style of this one really appealed to me. Here is the link so you can take a look.
I started with a splash of pink mist, then dried it and used texture paste and a chevron mask over the top. In the Kaisercraft papers that Mel and Jill set me this month there was a huge bouquet of flowers - and this again fitted perfectly with the sketch, I then added some beautiful Websters Pages lace, and made some arrows out of more of the Kaisercraft sticker sheet. The title is a glitz scrabble mini sticker...so no patterned paper what so ever, just lots of stickers, paint and lace!

SIPIDI - See It, Pin It, Do It.
I know that's a strange title for a blog post but it is a meme that I try to join in with each month over on Fiona's blog. The purpose is to get some of those Pinterest pins off your boards and into reality.
I had some bits and pieces left over from this months DT Kit, which by the way was from the very gorgeous Telegraph Road by Kaiserkraft.
So with a quick title cut on the Silhouette, and using some strips and stickers I was able to make this page.
I love how quickly a scraplift can come together.
This month I was taken by a scrapbook page designed by Christine Middlecamp
