Class 1 - Summertime - with Tracy

We are kickstarting our Kellerman's Cybercrop with a SUMMERTIME class as the Dirty Dancing film set at Kellerman's Mountain resort took part in a 60's Summertume.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on these sunny papers from Simple Stories Summer Lovin' collection; perfect for a day at the beach, to document a nice summer holiday, or if you're just chilling in the hot tub! (I seem to be able to make almost every paper range work with hot tub pics! haha)

All three of these layouts are pretty simple to start you off, but the second two show how to make your cardstock go further and has some detailed measuring.  It's easy enough to put together, but if anything is confusing just shout for me in the facebook group, tag me and I'll do my best to reply as quick as I can!

I hope you enjoy doing them as much as I did, I can't wait for you to share your layouts in the album.

Challenge 1 - Dirty Dancing - Kellerman's Cybercrop 2022

Welcome to our Kellerman's Cybercrop which runs all weekend with your ATDML design team. As always we are kickstarting with a challenge and the first challenge is to scrap a layout with a two worded title starting with the same letters (such as "Dirty Dancing")

Some suggestions could be Summer Sun, Perfect Photo, Mickey Mouse well, you get the idea!.

Upload your layouts to our challenge gallery on Facebook...we may well issue a prize or too?

Join us later this evening at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm for your first 3 classes of the weekend and then we will start again in the morning with challenge #2.

June Virtual Crop class with Ann

Something a little bit different today from my virtual crop class using Reminisce Fashion Week collection and some bold patterns which we break up a little so they are impactful but not too much.

I have made 3 class pages including this one here purrfect for your furr baby layouts (unless you have some great photos of you or someone else wearing leopard print!)

Enjoy the class and feel free to replicate the designs with your own papers if you don't have an ATDML kit to play with. They are great for using up your own stash too!

Your instructions can be found HERE.

Happy Sunday all x

June Virtual crop class 2 with Tricia

Good afternoon campers!

And welcome to your second class of the day and I'm hoping with all the good weather we have been having you have made it over to the beach (or popped the sprinklers on :)

The 49 & beach range is full of pastel shades and blue skies along with some fabulous nautical accents.  They are perfect for some lovely sunny day photos and I've teamed the up with some gorgeous glossy epoxy stickers with some fab features.

On top of that if you have some glossy accents and some string grab those too to add extra zing to the layouts and stretch your kits to 3 layouts.  We'll be using glossy accent to create water droplets and and splashes across all three pages for a subtle touch.

Hope you all have a lovely day and don't forget to add your version to the facebook gallery and to pop back at 2pm to see what Ann has been up to.

May Virtual Crop Class with Katherine

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well.  My class is packed with Paige Evans colour with lots of papers from her Bloom Street collection.  There is lots in this kit so you will be able to get more pages out of what you have left at the end.  There are 2 layouts, the first one looks at layering some of the beautiful patterns in this kit and the second has a more geometric feel using some of the flower charms from the collection too.

As always we would love to see you creations over on our Facebook page and you can come and join in the chatter. ATDML#Create which is where you will also find the instructions for the class.

Simple Stories Vintage Indigo Garden

Hello, I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend.  Here are a couple of spring packed pages for you using Simple Stories Vintage Indigo Garden.  This is a beautiful range and interestingly, though it could just be the papers I had, there was a pinky side and the other side was yellows, blues or greens....so you are always left with an option if you don't want too much pink.   I also got sent some more banner stickers and I still think these are fabulous and glam up a page with very little effort!  What a great invention.

For my first page I used the banner as the border between 2 papers - my border sticker didn't quite extend to the full 12" of the page but there are so many extra stickers that you can easily just add some and in fact I really like layering the stickers so some stuck to the page and some on foam pads.  I've also used some of the chipboard frames that come in the range and they are great way to add a bit more to your photo.

I backed the frames with some paper from the kit and then added stickers in the middle.

Here you can see how I added stickers to the end to try to disguise the fact that the sticker didn't extend the full width.

Here is a slightly more minimalist page using one of the smaller banners.  I started with green ink and some of the confetti glitter that BoBunny make - mine has started to dry up as it has been open a while, but I scooped some out and added a little water to it and it revitalised it so I could spread the sparkles around the page.  Again lots of layering of the stickers and a few of the papers and the page comes together really quickly!

I like the way that you can leave the frames open to reveal the layers beneath them, then just add a little sticker over the top.
