December Virtual Crop with Mel

Welcome to the last of our rescheduled December virtual crop classes.

I used the Stamperia Art of Traveling collection for this class. Some of these papers are works of art in themselves and one of the biggest challenges was how to use them in a way to showcase my photos without covering up too much of the lovely detail that was already there.

Here's one of my pages - the other two and full instructions can be found HERE in the google drive folder.

Thanks for looking and Happy New Year to you all from the ATDML family xx

December Virtual Crop with Sheree

Welcome to another virtual crop class day with your ATDML Creative design team.

I hope you have all managed to spend some time over the festive with those that you love or spend time doing something that you love.

This month I got to use papers from the Arden Season of Joy paper pad and also an ephemera pack. Perfect for using at this time of year. You can use the ephemera that goes best with each of your layouts .

There is so much in this kit that I’ve done 6 layouts and still have paper and ephemera to do more!

You can find the instructions in our google drive to download and play along - search for the files starting 1225 for this month.

Good Morning Campers

and a Happy New Year too!!

I'm not quite ready to let go of the season yet so I'll be wrapping up the season with Vicki Boutin's 'Wrapped in ribbons' collection today.  These papers have fun seasonal elements (without being too restrictive) to celebrate your Christmas days (and nights)

I've been so lucky to have had a lovely Christmas packed with activities from Carol singing to meeting the big man himself.

For the first layout I wanted to create a page that bursts to life with nods towards Christmas trees, stars and snowflakes.  The double sided papers give a great opportunity to create dimension and depth that lets you see both sides.

The second page uses a gorgeous base perfect for Christmas night photos or Black and white images but gives you the scope to add any colour to complement your subject matter or make use of the monochrome pallet. I added in reddy tones and gems from my stash to add that Christmas twinkle.

Click here to see more of the layouts including page 3 which features lots of Christmas motifs to really bring the magic!
