December Virtual Crop Class with Ann

How utterly stunning are the P13 papers in this month's December kit class of mine? I love the traditional colours and old world feel to them and they work with black and white and softer coloured photos. I made two layouts and still have supplies left for more and have plans for a circular layout using those fab circle stickers.

You can fund the instructions on our Facebook group this month under files and  I hope you enjoy them and have time to play over the holidays.

Wishing you all a happy scrappy day and a happy Christmas with your loved ones. Take lots of photos!!

December Virtual Crop Class with Katherine

Hello, I hope you are all enjoying the Virtual Crop so far - I'm going to drift you away from Christmas with 3 layouts using Vicky Boutin's Colour Study paper.  There is a beautiful Friends die-cut in the pack and plenty of colour in the papers.

The second page uses texture and lots of layering and the page is just packed with colour and the showcases all the different patterns in this collection.

I hope you enjoy the pages.  The instructions will be posted on Facebook and do remember to come and join in the chatter and share your creations with us in ATDML#Create.

Remember to check back at 2pm for Ann's Class.

Wishing you all a lovely Christmas and super New Year.

December Virtual Class With Karen

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas. I hope your plans are progressing well and you are almost ready for whatever you and and yours do for the big day. Our Christmases tend to be very quiet, although this year the joy will be added with the two cats - I can no longer justify calling them kittens - who will be enjoying their first proper Christmas. (last year they arrived two days before Christmas and so were still too timid to enjoy the festivities)

My class this month uses the gorgeous Graphis 45 Joy to the World collection. Graphic 45 papers are so thick and luxurious they are a joy to play with and - I am afraid to say - they do lend themselves so well to fussy cutting.

I have three class pages for you to do and there is loads and loads left over too.

This is one of the pages

I hope you enjoy the class and please do share your makes in our facebook group.

You can find the instructions in the facebook group.

I wish you all the blessings of the Christmas season

Festive Christmas with VB Warm Wishes

We had such fun at our Christmas crop last week that I wanted to scrap the photos straight away.  With an abundance of VB Warm Wishes goodies from the shop I knew it was going to be just as much fun making this layout which mostly uses the bauble paper and then a mix of alpha stickers for the title letters.

I also dug out my needle and thread and stitcked around the baubles once added to the page and love this simple detail. You easily replicate this with circles punched from your own choice of papers and a bauble top detail added.

A little bit of Christmas with Vicki Boutin Warm Wishes

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well as the excitement of Christmas builds!  I was lucky to be able to dive into ATDML's shop during the retreat and pick up lots of gorgeous Christmas bits from Vicki Boutin's Warm Wishes range.  It is lovely, packed with traditional colours and papers you can cut a part as well as this super wreath already done for you.  I used the wreath as my backdrop and then cut out some poinsettia and baubles from 'Tis the Season and Deck the Halls.  I went all out with glitter and carefully added a silver edge using some stickler, just to make it shine and then glitter the poinsettia too.  That bit was a little messy!

I used the title and tag from the ephemera pack that co-ordinates with this range

as well as a few red pearls to add some more berries.

As someone that does not normally like fussy cutting these papers are perfect and very forgiving, nice and easy to cut out.

I continued with the bauble theme and this time mixed in some really old Crate Paper chipboard baubles too.  I carefully hung them all with silver thread and then added a few little embellishments such as ribbon and punched stars and snowflakes.

Here you can see the vellum snowflakes which are glued behind the pearl in the middle.

Wishing you all a super Christmas.

November Virtual Crop with Tracy

Tracy here, with your last class of today.

I was so happy to be designing with these lovely Friendship themed papers from Photoplay, featuring so many perfect sentiments for the wonderful, and just ever so slightly crazy, friends I am so lucky to have.

My photo's aren't the most flattering, for me or my friends, but I am so pleased I have documented these memories.  It's the little things that we forget, which is why we all do this hobby I guess.

I hope you enjoy the classes and I can't wait to see your versions.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well.  For my class you will create 3 layouts with an absolutely gorgeous set of papers from P13 called Free Spirit.  All of the layouts are quite different, some distressing, some inkiness - it is a mixture!

I hope you enjoy the class.  Here is the link.
