Thank you all for joining us

Thank you all so much for your lovely kinds words this weekend and for joining us in another ATDML cybcercrop.

We hope you have enjoyed taking part as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.

Please join me in thanking the ATDML team for all the support in ordering and packing kits, trips to the post office during lockdown, scheduling of blog posts, designing of layouts, writing of instructions and weekend participation. It is a lot of work but we always love putting these events together and thank you for taking part.

As a refresh here are the links to the six challenges we have put together this weekend and entries to share your pages in the correct galleries on our Facebook group are due by next Sunday at Noon to be in for a change to win at ATDML pin badge.

Challenge 1 - Key to the Door

Challenge 2 - Kitchen Appliances

Challenge 3 - In The Attic

Challenge 4 - On the Wall

Challenge 5 - Outdoors In

Challenge 6 - Location Location

Class 15 - The Living Room with Kaisercraft Lily & Moss and Ann Freeman

And it's the end of your Cybercrop - do you have room for just one more class?
I have used the unusual colour combos of green & pink  in Kaisercraft Lily & Moss collection for this class.  Don’t you agree that some of the papers in the collection look like wallpaper? I have a wallpapered feature wall in my living room and hence I chose that room of the home for this class.

Also the Living Room is the heart of the home I think, where everyone gathers, and that is reflected in my second layout.

My final layout brings our House & Home cybcercrop to a close with a paper pieced house featured in the design. I hope you enjoy these and you can find the instructions to download for free just HERE.

Thank you all for joining our cybercrop. This wraps up the event but do keep sharing your pages with us - and remember entries for the challenges end next Sunday.

Class 14 - The Bathroom with Pinkfresh Noteworthy and Tricia Sutherland

Good Afternoon Campers

Welcome to the 2nd last class of the weekend, I hope you have been enjoying the classes!

This class will be taking inspiration from the Bathroom, from tiled walls, fragrant floral potions and celebrating relaxation time - no matter how silly it makes you look ;).  I'll be using the Noteworthy range from Pinkfresh which includes a range of watery aquas and soft pinks all teamed with some beautiful embellishments.

It doesn't just have to include pamper time, the papers also include some nods to outdoor activites, retail therapy or a cheeky wee bun and coffee from your local cafe.  The best part is you can have fun with the photos of you having fun!

Stay around for the last class of the weekend with Ann - I can't wait to see all your pages uploading on our facebook group!

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP - CHALLENNGE 6 - LOCATION LOCATION

Alas we come to the final challenge of the weekend but worry not, there are still two more classes to come before we call another cybercrop to a close.

Challenge #6 - Location, Location

They say the location of our home is the most important thing and we've been spending more time at home in recent months. So, to close the challenges for our House and Home cybercrop, we want you to scrap about a location you've been to or would like to go to but can't right now.

As always we'd love you to share your pages in the challenge gallery to be entered into a draw for a prize.

Karen has illustrated this challenge for us

Your next class is at 4pm with Tricia and we then close at 6pm with the final class from Ann.

Class 13 - The Front Garden with Simple Stories Garden District & Karen Leahy

Hi everyone and I hope you have been having an amazing weekend filled with challenges and classes we have all dreamed up for you.

I am here with another Simple Stories class - this time with Garden District which is just a wonderful pretty collection and perfect for a class called Front Garden.

I have three pages in the class and I hope that you enjoy using the kit - and all of the leftovers you will have.

This is just one of the pages to whet your appetite and the instructions for this and the others I have made can be found HERE

We are back at 3pm with our last challenge of the weekend and after that the last couple of classes. See you then!

Class 12 - Bedroom with Vicki Boutin Lets Wonder & Katherine Sutton

Welcome to class 12 using Vicki Boutin's Lets Wonder collection.  Our focus is on messy and the papers help with their inky designs....but there is a little bit of mess too.

Here is a peak of the first page which has some smooshing in it using distress oxides.

Our 2nd layout just has some flicks of paint to add the inkiness in the papers.

The third layout you can see here just uses the inkiness in the papers!  I hope you enjoy them.

Karen is up next at 2pm with her last class of the weekend. Enjoy!

Class 11 - Basement with Mel

Welcome to my last class of the weekend, it is entitled "Basement" as the focus of the design elements is at the bottom of the page.

My class uses the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection and features three pages. The first is shown below

Join us at Noon for Katherines class. Don't forget to stop by on the ATDML # Create Facebook page to share your creations in the relevant challenge and class galleries.

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP- CHALLENGE 5 - OUTDOORS IN

Time for challenge #5, the penultimate one of the weekend

Not all of us have gardens or green space to relax in so how do you bring the outside in? Do you have plants and flowers indoors? This challenge is to use the colour green and or foliage on your layouts in the form of patterned papers or stamps or photos.

Ann shares a layout of hers illustrating this challenge

Don't forget to share your challenge layouts in gallery #5 for this one, we do have some prizes to award!

Next up, at a more reasonable Sunday morning hour of 10am, is a class from Mel so join us back here then to download your free instructions.

Class 10 Inhabitants with Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse & Debs

I hope you have all had a marvelously scrappy Saturday.  Here is a super simple layout for a late-night scrapping session using Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse, a couple of paper punches and a pair of scissors.

You can find the instructions on how I put this layout and a simple off the page frame together on the ATDML website here.  I would love to see your layouts so please remember to share them on the ATDML #Create Facebook group.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow morning for more fun classes and challenges.
Debs

Class 9 - The Greenhouse with Amy Tan Shine on & Tricia Sutherland

Good Evening Campers

Hope you have enjoyed your second day of classes.  In this class we'll be taking inspiration from the greenhouse with floral and woody elements.  I used photos based in nature whether it be the glassy reflections captured on my walk, fruits and flowers growing in my garden or moving the garden into the kitchen with homemade bread.

I love the 'Planted' paper which reminds me of the shelved of growing pots in my Grandpa's old greenhouse and the 'Surrounded by love' geometric design reminds me of the domes at the Eden project!

The diecut elements make a fantastic addition to the papers and the colours are a beautiful mix of pale mint, gold and black.

Don't forget to pop back at 10pm for the last class tonight with Debbie.
I'll be back tomorrow so I'll see you then :)

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP - CHALLENGE 4 - ON THE WALL

Here is your next challenge of the weekend where you can use whatever supplies you like to interpret our prompt below.

Challenge #4 - On the Wall
As scrapbookers we love our photographs and preserving memories in our albums but do you also have photos on the wall at home or in frames around the house? This challenge is to feature frames on your layout or use a wall/brick design or paper.
The lovely Katherine has done an example for us of this challenge using a brick mask

And Karen used a brick background paper for her example

As you know we have created some galleries over on our Facebook group so you can share your layouts when you are ready - and yeah, we will probably be giving away a few prizes!

Tricia will be bringing you your next class at 8pm to inspire creativity this Saturday night.

Class 8 - The Office with Fancy Pants Take Note & Ann Freeman

A hello from me again as I take you to your next stop in our House & Home Cybercrop - The Office

The Fancy Pants Take Note collection featured in this class might initially appear to be a school/education collection but hopefully my layouts will show how you can flex this a little bit.

You have an hour until your next challenge at 7pm when we will be back here with more cybcerop fun - see you then!

Class 7 - The Shed with Mel

Hello and welcome to class number 7 of this weekends Cybercrop. I used the Cocoa Vanilla Legendary collection for this class and chose Shed as the "room" for this class due to the wood grain papers and paint splatters that reminded me of the contents of garden sheds up and down the country!

The class features three layouts - one of them is below, for the others click HERE to download the free instructions.

Join us again at 6pm for Ann's next class "The Office"

In the meantime do say hello on the daily chat thread and remember to share your layouts in the appropriate albums over on the ATDML # Create Facebook page.

Class 6 - Laundry Room with Carta Bella Home Again & Katherine Stoon

Hello, I hope you have been enjoying all the classes and challenges so far.   Welcome to class 6 which is the Laundry room.  In this class we are using the beautiful Home Again papers from Carta Bella.  The first page features a laundry line type layout using lots of the gorgeous ephemera in this range.

The second page features laundry bubbles....and is a bit messy!  Here is a peak.

I hope you enjoy the class, remember to share your layouts in our Facebook groups and join in the chatter.

You can find the class instructions HERE which can be downloaded for free and we will see you back here at 4pm for class 7 with Mel.

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP - CHALLENGE 3 - IN THE ATTIC

Here is your third challenge of the weekend where you can use whatever supplies you like to interpret our prompt below.

Challenge #3 - In the Attic
What do your store in your attic? How often do you go in there and is it mostly at Christmas to remove the tree and decorations? For this challenge we want to see you scrap your festive photos or use a box design on your page.
Our Katherine has taken a very literal interpretation of this challenge with an in the attic photo!

As you know we have created some galleries over on our Facebook group so you can share your layouts when you are ready - and yeah, we will probably be giving away a few prizes!

Katherine will be bringing you your next class at 2pm. Don't forget to grab some lunch too!

Class 5 - The Library with Graphic 45 Life's a Journey & Jane Hewitt

For our 'Library' room class - I would like to bring you a mini book. Since my favourite book to look at in a library has always been a pop-up book (I am fascinated by them!), today's class is a pop-up album featuring the Graphic 45 Life's a Journey collection.

I don't suppose many of us have been on holiday recently and it may be a while for some of us before we can go again - I know my 'big birthday' cruise has been postponed to August 2021 so it's going to be a while before the pictures of ocean liners from this Graphic 45 paper collection can be used properly!

So instead of the travel theme from the papers I took inspiration from the theme of the cybercrop to make a book themed around parts of the house. I have researched some different pop-up styles and renamed them  - so we have the window box, staircase, rooftops and attic windows...plus more.

This class is a technique class to show you how to make the various pop-up elements and you can do as few or as many of them as you like. I have focused on the patterned parts of the papers rather than the travel elements and my book is ready to add photos. Also - I have kept the fussy cutting down to a minimum since I know that this can be a chore for some people!

A video is the best way to look at a pop up book so here goes...

You do not have to have purchased the kit to take part but can just take inspiration from the pages  made  - and please do share your project with us.

Next up is another challenge at noon - come and play along!

Class 4 - The Garage with Simple Stories & Tricia Sutherland

Good morning Campers

Welcome to day 2 of the House and Home cybercrop.  With this class I'll be taking inspirations from the Garage.  The layouts not only feature a variety of modes of transport but they also celebrating the opportunity to break free!

You may choose to pull out some old photos from that fabulous trip you took like I did or some snaps from your government sanctioned exercise time during lockdown.

The range of papers are beautifully bright and come with a selection of stickers and some lovely little enamel accents.  I took inspiration from piles of travel leaflets, unfolded maps and planning routes.

I hope you enjoy the class and the weekend. - your instructions for this class can be downloaded HERE.

Pop back at 11am to join Jane in the Library for her G45 class.  I'll catch up with you again later tonight - see you then!

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP - CHALLENGE 2 - KITCHEN APPLIANCES

We are back with your second challenge of the weekend where you can use whatever supplies you like to interpret our prompt below.

Challenge #2 - KItchen Appliances
How many kitchen appliances and gadgets to you have at home that you don't use that often? Is it the same with your scrapbooking tools? Grab a barely used craft tool/piece of equipment and use on your page for this challenge.

We have created some galleries over on our Facebook group so you can share your layouts when you are ready - and who knows, we may have a few prizes to give away!

Your first class of the day is up at 9am with the lovely Tricia. Happy Saturday all x

Clsss 3 - Hallway with Simply Vintage Coastal & Karen Leahy

Hi everyone and welcome to the class using what has to be one of the most gorgeous Simple Stories collections ever.

I guess it is no secret that I am a real coast addict, living so near to the beautiful Dorset coastline and so working with this collection is such a dream. The papers are beautiful and don't even get me started on the stickers and frames.

I have three pages for you in  this class, each quite different and you will still have lots of bits left over to create more beauty with.

I hope you enjoy the class and I will look forward to seeing what you create - the instructions can be downloaded HERE for free.

That's us for this evening - join us again in the morning at 8am for your second challenge!

Class 2 - Back Garden With Mel

Hello and welcome to Class 2 of the ATDML House & Home Cyber Crop!

My first class of the weekend is "Back Garden" named for the floral elements of the kit.

Don't forget to share what you have been making over in the galleries on the ATDML # Create Facebook Group.

Come back at 10pm for Karen's first class of the weekend.

Class 1 - The Attic with Prima Pretty Pale & Ann Freeman

A huge welcome to you all as we kick off a weekend of cybcrcrop classes with your ATDML design team. I am up first with a couple of layouts using Prima Pretty Pale - a wonderfully vintage collection that reminded me older things you'd perhaps store in the attic and the colour tones of paper when it has been around for a while.

You do not have to have purchased the kits to take part but can just take inspiration from the pages  made  - and please do share your pages with us.

Next up is Mel at 8pm with her first class of the weekend and hopefully you'll have seen we have already posted our first challenge. Enjoy and have fun, absolutely no stressing allowed!!

HOUSE & HOME CYBERCROP - CHALLENGE 1 - KEY TO THE DOOR

And we are off!

We have been so very much looking forward to sharing another summer cybcercrop with you all. The ATDML team have been hard at work behind the scenes coming up with a House & Home themed cybercrop where each class and challenge is named after a room, or location  (well most of them are tenous links but you'll get the idea!!)

We did sell kits for each of the classes but you don't have to have these to join in  - you can simply take inspiration from the pages being shared , use your own supplies and get your memories scrapped and in to those albums.

Kickstarting this weekend is challenge #1 - The key to the door.
As we start our house and home cybercrop we invite you to grab your keys and let yourself in for a weekend of crafting inspiration with ATDML. This challenge is to feature a key or keys somewhere on your layout or a door to a hidden element on your page.
The lovely Karen has done an example for you too

We have created some galleries over on our Facebook group so you can share your layouts when you are ready - and who knows, we may have a few prizes to give away!

Our first class is up at 6pm with Ann and we look forward to scrapping the weekend away with you.
